Her portable professional massage table is sturdy yet comfortable, and she always brings fresh linens to keep me covered and warm. She uses a combination of traditional and Thai massage techniques, and focusses far less on minutes than on making sure I have a relaxing and peaceful massage experience. She's extremely knowledgable and experienced, even with special cases, like my wife, who has a spinal cord injury and required a different treatment than your average massage patient in order to feel relief from pain and stress. Gayle has a very pleasant, easy-going personality and is a pleasure to get to know. She's also great with kids, in case you have little monsters running around like we do. Once in a while we go over to her home-based clinic. It's recently renovated, totally accessible, has free parking and even a sauna. The oils smell pretty good, too :) Gayle's the only massage therapist we trust and I enthusiastically recommend her services!

She dimmed the lights in the room, played calming music and suggested a quiet session, as she knew I was stressed. I appreciated that this took the pressure off me to talk, as I often spoil my relaxation by doing this...Amy was intuitive enough to pick up on this. However, if conversation is something you enjoy during a treatment, she is very intriguing, intelligent and witty to talk to. I wouldn't be surprised if clients book sessions simply because of her personality. As far as the treatment goes, Amy altered her pressure for my preference, and never had to be asked twice to avoid painful techniques. Her intuition lead her to all my problem areas and I have to admit, I've stolen a few of her techniques to use in my practise. As an RMT myself, I am selective with therapists. I would not hesitate to return to Amy and I look forward to my next session. Thanks Amy! Jen Dobell, RMT
