Have never been to such a complete therapy program that incorporates not only exercise but also more than enough time with manual manipulation with each and every patient. It is a fun atmosphere where you can see the therapists and staff enjoy what they do, they get along great and they really listen to the patient. I have been to atleast 12 Different places in my life and this is by far the Mercedes of all of them. You won't be sorry to switch over as you always walk out a different person from when you walk in. read more

Breanna and her team are amazing! Breanna helped my 9 year old recover from an injury with humor and expertise. Thank you!

*Reverse Shoulder Replacement* Four months ago, I began post-operative recovery from reverse shoulder surgery. After the operation my range of motion was measured in millimeters. There was a fair amount of pain and physical changes due to the scope of the operation. Four months later, when looking back on decisions taken, I'm happy I selected Riverwalk Physical Therapy as my partner for my Physical Therapy. John, Phil, Dave and the entire team at Riverwalk Physical Therapy managed my progress based on my surgeon's instructions and pushed at the right times and adjusted their targets at the right times to deliver an optimal result. The people at Riverwalk Physical Therapy exhibit a level of caring that makes you feel as though they are on this journey with you. That is because they really are. You can feel that your success is their success. Despite the discomfort that can accompany the process, I actually looked forward to going three times a week. Riverwalk Physical Therapy was selected because an acquaintance of mine recommended them. My surgeon also recommended them. You will be glad you came to these dedicated people in order to Live Better. I certainly am. read more

Larry is awesome. Everyone at Riverwalk is terrific but I highly recommend Larry for his incredible insight and ability to help my body do the things I love again. Larry identified why my chronic problem developed and gave me exercises to correct it so I won't have to suffer with the pain in the future. read more

After many years of shoulder pain after shoulder surgery and many failed PT attempts to remedy the range of motion and pain, I started going to Riverwalk physical therapy. After only a few months, my shoulder had felt better than it had in years and now I have my range of motion back, my strength, and I'm pain free. It is all due to the effort and determination of my therapist Dave Kitchen. He is quick to diagnose the issue, patient when listening to me complain, tailors exercises to my body, and treatments are always effective. In addition, he is able to explain the issue in a way that I can understand and provides effective home treatments and exercises so I can treat myself. He genuinely cares about my well-being and I look forward to every session. Dave is an outstanding physical therapist and the best one I have ever been to. If you can get on his calendar, you will not be disappointed! read more

I needed physical therapy two years ago for hip and lower back pain. The owners/physical therapists are dedicated professionals with a personal touch. They care. I became a patient again this past spring after a horrible auto accident where I was lucky to have had that angel on my shoulder protecting me. The therapists helped me get through a concussion, whiplash. I will continue to use Riverwalk in the future IF needed. read more

My experience at Riverwalk has been exceptionally. Janice has helped me understand what it takes to rehab properly both physically and mentally. John keeps thing light with his outgoing personality. I interviewed several places before deciding on Riverwalk and it was the attention to the whole person that sold me. I had two knee replacement 3 months' apart, so I have been there for almost 6 months now. The staff treats everyone with dignity and respect. Thank you! read more

Physical Therapy at it's finest! All of the PTs are excellent -- they know their stuff -- and are all very personable which makes it a very pleasant environment. The assistants are also very caring and attentive to your needs. Unfortunately this is my second time needing PT and I didn't think twice about where to go. I recommend Riverwalk Physical Therapy to everyone .... regardless of age! read more

I started physical therapy at Riverwalk, recently, in the hope of some relief of lower back, and hip pain. I'm so impressed with these folks and the team effort that they put forth with all of their patients. They're professional, while still maintaining a comfortable, friendly, family environment. If physical therapy is the appropriate modality of treatment for you....I would wholeheartedly recommend them!!! read more

John went 2-for-2. I had my left knee replaced at age 60 on October 30, 2018 and was back playing roller hockey in four months. I had my right knee replaced just seven weeks ago, and I'm graduating this week back to my regular training, and on pace to return to the rink on February 1. John, Janice and Phil at Riverwalk are awesome, the place is a community, and the treatment is both professional and friendly. They know when to push, when to relax, and how to get the most out of everybody. If you live in Central Jersey and need PT, this is DEFINITELY the place. read more

Riverwalk provides excellent physical therapy. I have been to two other PT organizations and none provided the type of therapy that I receive at Riverwalk. Riverwalk not only provides exercises but more importantly for me actual hands on therapy whereas the other two organizations I previously went to just did supervised exercise with very little hands on therapy. read more

When I first walked into Riverwalk Physical Therapy I was exhausted from waking up with hip pain every night. Phil, the physical therapist, was encouraging and willing to take the necessary time to assess exactly what were the sources of my pain and implemented various treatments. In subsequent visits, John also did assessment, soft tissue work, prescribed exercises and gave practical instructions on how to manage driving and standing at work. These have been life changing! I couldn't believe that I was feeling so better after my first visit, and the following sessions have helped to where I'm able to sleep through the night without Motrin! The don't rush through sessions or juggle several patients at once, like I've experienced elsewhere. The assistants are also very knowledgeable and kind. I cannot say enough good things about the great therapists and my experience at Riverwalk Physical Therapy. Diana Reed NJ Special Ed Teacher read more

Phil and John are 2 very caring physical therapists who won't rest until they get to the root of the problem. I started going to Riverwalk PT last November with foot pain and now I'm 95% pain free. Phil and John found a flaw in my stride and started strengthening exercises to help me correct the problem that was causing the pain in my foot. Phil and John are 2 very thoughtful & knowledgeable professionals. I'm very pleased with my progress, their customer service as well as the Riverwalk Physical Therapy facility. K Morgan read more

I can not begin to describe the greatness of Riverwalk Physical Therapy. My daughter and I first went there when she sprained her ankle and I had knee surgery, around 5 years ago. The treatment we received was top notch! So when she tore her ACL 6 months ago, there was no question as to where she would go for her PT. Anyone who had this injury and surgery knows how difficult the recovery is, especially when you are a 14 year old athlete. The therapists were all wonderful with her! They were very hands on and addressed her recovery appropriately, advancing her as necessary and revisiting areas that she was finding difficult. Besides addressing her physical need, however, they were wonderful with dealing with all of her emotional and psychological issues that come with being young and injured. She always looked forward to going to PT and worked like an animal while she was there. All of the therapists are excellent! And the staff is also very sweet, accommodating and supportive. In short, Riverwalk Physical Therapy goes above and beyond to help heal your body and brighten your spirits! read more

Dr. Mary Norey is a highly trained professional. She has helped me immensely with my painful pelvic floor issues which I have suffered with for months. Mary is extremely knowledgeable and educated me along in the path to my healing. Pain is very complex. Her kindness and empathy made all the difference! Not only did she help me with the physical pain, she also helped with the psychological aspect of the pain. She was very encouraging and always positive. She made me believe that I would heal. There were days that I thought I would never return to "normal". However, I would get progressively better after each week. Also, It is obvious that the needs and comfort of the patient are very important to her. I had a very unfavorable experience at another facility, and I was a little reluctant to continue with the physical therapy. I am so happy that Riverwalk was recommended to me. I highly recommend Dr. Mary Norey! read more

I am a patient at Riverwalk Physical Therapy in Basking Ridge and cannot say enough wonderful things about the facility and Dr. Mary Norey, a pelvic floor specialist. Everyone is friendly and accommodating and the place is spotless. But most importantly, Dr. Norey has changed my life. After 8 years of suffering with pelvic pain, I finally found a urogynocologist, Dr. Michael Ingber of Denville, (he only treats women), who recommended me to Dr. Norey. She is the most compassionate, understanding and kind physician I have ever been to. She has an excellent background in treating patients like myself and has many techniques and exercises which have improved my quality of life tremendously. For myself, the healing process is slow, but empowering thanks to the encouragement and optimism of Dr. Norey. Riverwalk also has an acupuncturist on staff who specializes in women's issues and I have found the combination of physical therapy and acupuncture to be incredibly helpful. If you have pelvic issues and have been told there is no help for you, see Riverwalk & Dr. Norey and you will be on the road to recovery! read more
