My favorite dog park for any time of the day! Always very clean and safe grounds. This dog park offers a large gated dog area and a separate small gated dog area. There is also a gated agility course located in the dog park. Free parking lot is available right in front of the entrance. Street parking available as well. During the night, the small dog park has poor lighting but the large dog area is pretty illuminated. I always struggle finding small enough gates for small dogs and this is one of the few parks, I can assure is very small breed friendly. I Always feel safe in this area. Conveniently next to Starbucks and the scenic riverwalk park across the street. Highly recommended for all fellow fur parents! read more

The big dog park could use an update. The dog fountain sometimes doesn't want to work. Mud and puddles seem to come up, get fixed, then back a few weeks later. Not a lot of grass left. AM dog owner group is very nice and friendly, see a lot of the same faces. Lots of playful puppies, more male crowd than anything. Few newer dog owners need lessons in keeping an active eye on dogs. Had an incident with a dog getting bit a few weeks ago, then a few days ago the same dog got a little too rough with my dog, and I had to intervene, my dog is fine but I have a handful of tooth punctures and bruises on my hands. Crime is an issue. Car was broken into a few months ago, a purse was stolen a few days ago. Definitely do not leave anything of value in vehicles even if hidden. Had a few incidents with angry homeless throwing things at people or parked cars while walking by. There is no security or cameras, or any monitoring for safety at all. We just went here for the first time this morning. It was on the way back from Dunkin. ;) The parking lot was pretty empty, but it was clean. A poodle on the Small Dog Park side saw us approaching and waited for us by the gate. Once we got in, the rest of the other dogs came to greet us and Max, our long haired chihuahua. It was adorable! They were so friendly. A fellow fur mommy also came by and struck up a conversation with my fiance and me. It was nice for us (and Max too) to socialize a little, even at a distance. The park was spacious and clean. Doggie bags are also provided for you. However, watch where you step on the grass. We still saw some poop lol. In short, I'd go back with Max. We had a good first experience here. read more

I'd say this is one of the top dog parks in the area! The Riverwalk Dog Park sits across the street from La Sierra University, and consists of three individual dog parks: a park for small dogs, large dogs, and then a third park that is isolated. The large dog park is where you'll find the majority of your pups new furry friends. This park has tons of grass, disposable bags, a water fountain, and plenty of seating for the pup's humans. This is my go-to spot for nighttime visits since the park is well lit and located in a pretty good area. The third spot is perfect for both socializing and training. I've frequented this park while training my Australian Shepard in agility. There's several pre-created obstacles, including ramps, weave poles, and a small tunnel. A few notes: Parking is incredibly easy and the park closes for a few hours on Fridays for maintenance. read more

If you're a dog mom / dog dad and want your pup to socialize and stretch those eager paws out and run around like the energetic animals they are, then please... BRING YOUR BABY HERE. Bark Park is seriously THE place to be if you're in the inland empire. Bark Park has THREE separate areas for dogs which include, large dogs area, small dogs area and a mighty fine agility course for some serious training. The park includes a few benches with both shaded and exposed sunlight so if it's hot or cold you're good to go. The park also offers multiple water bowls for dogs who enjoy drinking normal, elevated or even standing up. I think this is awesome because not all dogs like to share their water bowls. The park also has a spray water area where your dog can run around and get wet or simply do a wash down before you leave the park. The area has some grass and some extremely dry dirt areas so even if it was raining the night before your dog won't get all gross and muddy. Bark Park also offers plenty of clean up bags so you don't have to worry about forgetting them. I come here on a regular bases and have gathered that the best times to come is around Mon - Fri (6pm-8pm) and Sat - Sun (11am-3pm). Your pal will always have a furry pal to hangout with if you visit in between those times. I hope this place seriously starts booming with adorable dogs! All I ask from a Pooch Park is some grass, water for the animals, working gates, and a little size so the animals can feel free and roam around. RDP has all this. It seems at every dog park we visit, dog owners sit on the benches and just sit there, often staring at their phone. Lazy jerks. You know you own a dog, right? You are not just a person, you are a person with a dog. Get up and walk around so your dog (which you don't deserve) will socialize more. I have spoken. We've had several fun days here with our Lilly pup. Sunday was a busy day, but unfortunately, it appears she is a bit of a wallflower. She pretty much stayed by my side, kinda like she was velcro'd to my leg. I did my best to get her to mingle, but that'll take more time I guess. The dog park has its own little parking lot, and the "little dog" side is double gated so there are no escapees. Plenty of benches for the humans, lots of cool, green grass, some decent shade, plenty of bushes and trash cans to pee on, a couple of water bowls that are kept filled with fresh out of the faucet H2O, and if you are lucky, some really playful little canines. I would not recommend bringing your little kids here though. The grass and sidewalks are way too unsanitary for the wee little innocents. Other than the few irresponsible owners who do not keep an eye on their dogs who have just deposited a large pile, this is one of the nicer maintained, prettier dog parks (at least, for the little dogs) in the area. Too bad the other side, where the big dogs are allowed is rather stark. And just so you know, there are free doody bags, folks, and pooper scoopers. So no excuses! read more

DON'T BRING AGGRESIVE DOGS TO THE PARK!! IT IS NOT FAIR FOR OTHER DOGS! I loved going here because of the agility course they have. My dog loves doing the course and running with her pal but one experience has made us very hesitant to come back to this park. One day my pup was just minding her own business and playing with her friend with a student from the health school across the street brought her two (male and female) bully bred dogs in. The female dog was minding her own business but the male dog walked over and immediately tried to mount my pup. My pup obviously does not like that kind of stuff and gave him a warning and tired to run off and play with her friends. The male dog then immediately grabbed my pup's leg and locked his jaw on it. My puppy was screaming so much trying to get him off and he was not budging. His owner could not even get him off and she was so calm throughout the whole situation that made me think that this has happened before and she wasn't even panicing or worried. After 10 mins of trying to get the stupid dog to let go he finally lost his grip and my dog's leg was bleeding and punctured. The owner got her dogs out of the park while my friend and I were checking on my puppy. The owner then came back to see if my puppy was okay and started to try to make jokes and lighten the mood but then left without giving any of her information to me. So irresponsible. If your dog is aggressive - do not bring them to the dog park. If your dog does not listen to you - do not bring them to the dog park. If your dog likes to mount - do not bring them to the dog park. read more

I'll never understand why people bring their dogs to dog parks when they don't want their dogs socializing with other dogs. Many of the park goers know our dog by name since we come here regularly. We love this dog park because of all the friendly people and dogs, but what brought me to writing this review is this lady who got upset because my dog wanted to play with her dog. She picked up her dog and my dog jumped up out of excitement (mind you, he's a 9 month old puppy). He has pretty good manners and understands when I tell him to get off, to which he listened. She yelled at me across the park and said "MA'AM YOU NEED TO GET YOUR DOG" while I'm sitting down obviously HELLA pregnant. Little dog park: Not as well maintained as the big dog park. My dog contracted UTI from the shared water bowl and so it's best to bring your own. Dog owners are not friendly and do not train their dogs and they do not pay attention to them or pick up their poop. There are lots of dog poop that have not been picked up despite the free poopy bags provided. Dog owners tend to socialize rather than pay attention to their dogs. One time a man cussed and almost kicked my dog for playing with their dog. He didn't like the way my 15 lbs pupper was play biting his, but I watch my dogs and know that they are not aggressive. There's another dog park that is another 15 minutes that I'd recommend called Dairyland. Dog owners and their dogs are friendly and responsible. They watch their dogs and my dogs can play bite without the possibility of having a human kick and cuss at them. read more

PSA: ALL dogs are animals. Dogs roughhouse, have fun, & play fight. They communicate by barking & even sometimes growl. Every dog has different personalitIes. If you don't like how dogs play & interact or you're unhappy, THEN LEAVE. I like this dog park. It's split into two for small & large dogs. This dog park is mainly dirt with some not really grass areas but mostly green weeds. There is a bunch of dog crap everywhere where lazy inland empire folk don't pick up after their dogs. This is a gross dog park. Also, every time I come here I have big dogs mounting my black lab. And everyone laughs about it. Leave your untrained horny dogs at home if you can't control them. What a fabulous little dog park! I've NEVER been to a dog park so... NICE! Haha! I was a bit overwhelmed by the organization and neatness of this park. There's separate parks for big dogs and small dogs, but even the space for small dogs is very roomy! Lots of space for my little dachshund to play and it seems that plenty of old folks love to come by. I personally love catching the late crowd since there's so many more dogs around 7ish. Everyone's responsible for their own dog's poops, but occasionally we have the few owners who don't watch their dog every minute and forget - then we have the others who are anal and pick up all the dog poop. Hahah. In any case, it's a nice park. I highly recommend all dog owners in the area to come by and take their dogs out to play! read more

Came here for about an hour & left with about 20 mosquito bites. This park needs some TLC. 2 areas with broken sprinklers which had large puddles of nasty water. I make a note of people and their dogs before I enter the play areas. Not all dogs are friendly. And not all humans care to train their dogs. I've walked into the dog park and left with into 2-3 seconds before. Yes, it's a pain to do that. But it's better than having to fend off a dog that is displaying aggressive behavior towards your dog. The cleanliness and behavior is a hit or miss. I've noticed mid day is the best. It's the least crowded. The best park I take my dog to is near dowtown in this area. But that isn't an official dog park. read more

I've traveled to every state in the US (minus alaska) and this has to be one of the top 5 WORST I've ever been to. Dog feces everywhere. 2 very small trees for shade in big dog park area. Drinking fountains broken and unusable. When it gets this hot in socal, there should be adequate shade and adequate water for both humans and dogs alike. Just overall grimy and dirty. Small dog park is disgusting. I don't understand how people can be given a nice park and then not pick up after their own dogs. They don't realize how many diseases feces carry. The big dog park is not like that. Those folks get it. I have seen so many elderly let their dogs do their business and then leave it. For gosh sakes, ask for help if you can't walk. And not just them. Many many others. If I ever go back, I will start taking photos of the people who don't pick up, print, and hang their pictures in shame. It's so typical. People are given something nice from your local government, and you mess it up by not doing your share. How would you feel if we lost the park because of overall bacteria growth. Then we have the little children in a dog park. Running and crying when a dog chases them. Here is what I tell them. My dog can't go to a children's park. So if my dog nips your child it's on you. It's a DOG park. And the police always say. It's a civil Issue. So stop bringing your kids to a dog park and getting upset when a dog chases them. read more

Although there is dog feces in the large dog park, that is not the fault of the park. They provide scented plastic bags and numerous trash containers. The poo problem are the dog owners too lazy to clean up after their pooch. The lack of grass is due to large dogs romping around and decimating the grass simply because they are big, again, not the parks fault. When my 73 pound dog runs the turf flies up behind him. I've been bringing my dog to the small dog park for the last month. I usually bring her in the evening around 6pm when it starts to cool down. During this time there is a lot of dogs ! So if your dog doesn't like crowds then I recommend bringing them another time. The regulars have gotten to know me and my pup and everyone is very friendly. There are the occasional people that don't pick up after their dogs or aren't paying attention. There is also the occasional first timers who bring in their dogs leashed inside and all the dogs get a bit riled up bc of the leash. The water bowls don't look the best but when I get there I usually empty out old water and put fresh water in it. Occasionally I bring my own water bowl for my dog. My puppy is notorious for stealing other people's water bowls and running away with them. I'm always attentive so I'll chase her down and give the owners back their bowls but I'm extremely happy that people are very friendly and usually laugh at my pup for this - but of course I'm still making the effort to give them back their bowl. Advice for new people: 1. don't come in with your dog leashed. It'll cause a bit of chaos. 2. If you bring treats for your dog - make sure you hide them well from other dogs bc this will also create chaos 3. Always bring your own poop bags just in case the park runs out. 4. Don't just sit and be on the phone the whole time. Try to be attentive in case there's trouble or if your dog is a humper- common courtesy to stop your dog from doing that to another one. 5.Everyone is friendly and ready to have full length conversations if your open to it. read more

I'm not too impressed with this dog park. The people here were super sweet and friendly. But everything else is sort of sad and bare. Very little shade and a bit too close to the streets for my liking. It doesn't seem like it's been maintained too well. Yes I get it's a dog park and there's only so much you can do, but it would be good to take a bit better care so it's a nicer environment for our doggies. read more

I've been coming here for 3 years. Three years ago it was very nice, well kept for a bit then the grass went away the dirt came and every morning as people would come they would water until it was extremely muddy. A couple years ago they replanted grass added mulch. However they water until it is drenched it's muddy and nasty. Lately there seems to be a lot of dog feces left a lot from bigger dogs in small dog side. On Friday am when they clean etc they mow and don't even clean up the sidewalk so it's left dirty and muddy. They overwater so much grass has washed away in many areas so you are left with mud all over. Very little grass, no trees at the large dog park and rather small. Not all that impressed.

Since I adopted my pup Gunner two months ago we have been going to this dog park everyday of the week, and I mean everyday.. I love this park and so does he, especially the big dog park side. It is nicely lit during the evening so you can watch all he dogs and the pup parents are so nice and fun to talk to. I have not yet come across one aggressive dog in the park, and it is well kept. They do offer a water fountain for the dogs and poop bags that smell like baby powder. The small dog park needs some more lighting for the evening hours but other that it is nice for the small dogs or new pups. They also provide an agility course for those who want to introduce their dogs to the larger ones without a fight and for training. It is open on Friday's after 2pm one the cleaning crew leaves in case there is any confusion. I promise after 45 minutes your dog will be exhausted. read more
