Dont get me wrong, it is a nice course. But every time I have been here over the course of three years I have experienced staff that micromanage and have to put their two cents in. I shoot in the 80s so I am not bad. You could have perfect course etiquette and the staff will still have something to complain about or ride behind you. After a while you get tired of the staff having a power trip, will not come back again. read more

They have you hitting off dirt on the driving range...multiple times. If you're a single you might want to try someplace else. They are definitely biased against singles...even if you come every day! They don't want to schedule you unless you're a two-some or a four-some even if they have openings!! The course is in pretty good shape. You would hope for more with a public course owned by the City. read more

Lady at the front desk is always in a bad mood. Half the course is always under repair so you have extra obstacles. The cart path has potholes and is in terrible condition. Paid $29 to play 9 holes with a cart on a Saturday. Course will never be worth $29 to even play 18 holes with cart. Weeds are high in some spots, brides look like there about to fall down. I hope the extra money I paid goes towards some upgrades and a new front desk person. read more

I have played this course hundreds of times. It has gone downhill significantly. They need to pump money back into the course and clean it up. I'm sure people would be willing to pay a little more, if the course was in better shape. The bridges look like they are ready to collapse, there are weeds everywhere around the tee boxes, anthills on the greens, and the wood benches at the tee boxes are old and falling apart. The outside of the building could use an upgrade and the they could use a better menu for the snack bar. read more

Played last night. I've played this course on and off for 35 years and it looks like it's on it's way back to the former glory. Quite an improvement over just 4 years ago the last time I played there. Very nice greens, carts, and overall maintained pretty good. I'd suggest they fix the ponds to what they used to be and get rid of all the tall weeds around them. More like what they were in the 80's. Also, let the wooded hazards grow back into being woods and use that effort into clearing and dredging the ponds and creek running through. That would make the course more difficult. Compared to another local course I just played, Riverview is much better, although it does cost more so you get what you pay for. read more

So they put a screen up on the carts in respect of corona virus but shrunk the golf range down to 4-6 feet apart from each other? It makes no sense... some people are so close that they are almost hitting each other in the head.... Played this course on 8/28 and more than half of the greens over the 18 were under repair. Things happen and I do not expect a course to be 100% but the level repair was unbelievable. Enormous 30x10 foot sections were flagged off and the grass was pitiful. Makes it really hard to play when you don't have a chance to finish a hole properly. That being said, fine course other than the greens. I'll try it again next year but I will be taking my tee times elsewhere for the remainder of this season. read more

This 27-hole course gives you lots of variety. It is a fair course that offers wide enough farrways, while presenting challenges with water and treelined fairways. It is well maintained and the prices are reasonable. There are three 9-hole courses: The Blue, Red and Gold. The Blue is known for its water holes. The Red and Gold are the original courses that have mature wooded areas. The course also has a Practice Facility that has three practice holes, driving ranges on the top of the hill and the bottom. It has a huge practice green and practice areas for chipping and sand shots. It's pretty cool - the only one like it that I know of. There is a full restaurant and bar (Sportsmens Den) on the property and a large banquet hall. It's a large restaurant that also offers seating on the deck overlooking the golf course. The food is good and provides anything from prime rib to a burger. Overall, this place has just about everything. read more

So my friend and I were set to play Red Course to Blue Course. What they failed to tell us was they there was a League of 90yr old people on the Blue course and they had us make the turn right behind them. We ended quieting because it was 20+ minutes per hole. Second time they did that. If they have THREE course why put a twosome making a turn behind a SLOW league. Other then the poor attitude they gave us we did get a 9 hole raincheck. After we use the raincheck (making sure there's no league in front of us) we'll probably never play there again. Another note, why is the water bottles on the 8th hole not on the 4th or 5th holes? They get three stars because the course itself is nice. read more
