I would leave zero stars if I could. Our family has several loved ones in this cemetery going back…read moreto 1986 and it used to be a peaceful, beautiful place. Families tended the graves with loving care, laying fresh flowers, solar light spikes and tiny mementos on the narrow ledges of the headstones. It was well tended and tastefully kept. Never in all these decades have we ever observed anything unkempt, distasteful or hazardous to visitors or maintenance crews. Suddenly, in October 2024 the heartless Milford Cemetery Association removed EVERYTHING from ALL the graves. Not one letter, email or phone call to give loved ones opportunity to remove precious keepsakes from the graves. Posting a few signs for a short while may have notified a FEW but not many and those who were out of town had no way of removing anything! HEARTLESS! CRUEL! UNNECESSARY! Loved ones were in deep distress. Many of those tiny items were articles the deceased treasured, etc and MCA threw them in the trash as if they were garbage. Can you just try to imagine the cruelty? A letter or postcard should have gone out to the last known address for each family that purchased a plot but I guess that was too much money for MCA to spend and why bother when they obviously did not care. Care... that is what cemeteries are all about, or should be. The association should sell and tend the graves with respectful care and the families should tend their loved ones graves with tender care. Us families did the right thing, the MCA failed. SHAME ON MILFORD CEMETERY ASSOCIATION! Spend your money elsewhere in a cemetery where you are free to honor and remember your loved one in a peaceful, beautiful area free of evil and stress. Lay that treasured memento knowing it's not going to be trashed behind your back!

They removed all…read moretrinkets, monuments and memorials left on graves damaging many. and even chiseled off items that were affixed to the graves damaging them in the process and removed flags from veterans graves! The only notice was a few signs in the cemetery. No emails, no letters and it wasn't even put on their website!! As a result many families had no idea this was happening. The entire community was outraged at the heartless and disrespectful behavior and fortunately were able to retrieve many objects before they were tossed into the trash.. If I could easily remove my family members from this cemetery I would! I will never give this place my business again!
