***Beware*** This 3rd party is a nightmare. On 6/24 our daughter dropped two tags off after I emailed them prior to doing so and they advised we could turn in tags from what I assumed was a 24 hour turnaround. On 6/30 our daughter's license was suspended as the tag was still showing active. they advised once the Tag was surrendered she would have to pay $150 to renew .After several calls a Jennifer finally answered when I explained her the situation, she advised that there was no tags there. Then proceeded to ask me the Tag number. once I gave it to her, she advised that it was showing canceled in her system, which at the time I did not know it wasn't the same system as the DMV. Husband took our daughter to the actual DMV on 7/1/25 who advised both plates were dropped off on June 30. One thing the representative advised was strange is that our daughter's particular Tag was Marked dropbox. I made several phone calls and finally got back through to speak to her. She referenced herself as Jenny, who advised Jordan had brought in the tags to the actual tax collectors . I did a Sunbiz search come to find that Jordan was the owner. When I advised this, Jenny that both of our tags were dropped off the same day, she sounded surprised and said oh you didn't tell me there was another tag. apparently, I didn't give them a chance to mark mine as a dropbox as well. Jenny also advised Jordan videos her drop offs which they didn't offer the proof of or offer to pay for their mess up. They dropped the ball. My daughter's license got suspended & we have to come out of pocket and they tell us there's nothing that they can do. BTW Jordan advised she didn't drop my tags the week prior someone else did. To me I felt there was only two individuals working.ATTN if you need something important done immediately this is not a place to go. I know to do my homework for next time. read more

I had moved and needed to renew my car tags and went here to avoid the hassle at the DMV but they didn't correct my address and they didn't even have my vehicle connected to my drivers license. I bought a used vehicle and needed to transfer the title, register the car, and get a tag. Since the DMV merged with the Tax Collectors office, I wanted to avoid the crowd and chaos during the Covid Crisis. I would have used the online services or a kiosk had I need to renew, but what I needed done, required a visit in person. When I searched online, this business popped up as a drop off service for the DMV. It appeared to me as an extension office of the DMV, where you could drop off the documentation, and later pick it back up. Since I was in no hurry, I thought this was a way to avoid the crowds and wait. My encounter with Riverview Auto Tag and Title was pleasant. There was no wait, It was quick and I paid for the service. At the time, it seem like a lot of money. I hadn't bought a car in several years so I thought it had just gotten to be that expensive. Later that night, I researched the Tax Collectors Fee Schedule only to find out I had paid an excessive amount of money. And low and behold in a light gray size 4 font, at the bottom of my receipt, was a disclaimer that Riverview Auto Tag and Title is not affiliated with the Tax Collectors Office. There it was, after the fact, in such fine print that only someone with the eye's of a hawk could read. Needless to say, I felt taken advantage of. I had found them in a google search for the DMV. On a Facebook page they sponsor, is a fake link to the DMV. In hind sight I should have realized something was fishy. They offered no fee schedule online or inside the store. There was no disclosure that they charge a premium for their service or that they were not affiliated with the DMV or the Tax Collector. I even commented to the employee, business owner, that the price was high. To which she just smiled. What should have cost around $325, actually ended up costing over $500 at Riverview Auto Tag and Title. If you are all about service and convenience, then this may be for you. However, If you don't mind waiting an hour or two at the Tax Collectors Office, you can save a few hundred dollars and get your tags before you leave. That comes to about $85/hour. I don't know about you, but I don't make nearly that much money. read more
