I came to Dr. Chang needing a new night guard/retainer. He made a night guard for my top teeth but hadn't planned on doing anything for the bottom. RED FLAG! Common knowledge that you need to wear a retainer for the rest of your life. He finally made me a partial retainer for my bottom teeth - so it covered my front 10 teeth. That was about 3 years ago. We moved and have been looking for a good dentist for the last 2 years. A few weeks ago - I found out that my bite is TOTALLY off because I didn't have the appropriate retainer.
