I took my car in for an oil change and was told it would be 60-90 minute wait. I was also told it was time for the $189 service, not just the oil change. My car was riding a little rough, so I reluctantly agreed. 2 hours and 15 minutes later, I was told it took so long because it needed some repairs. They explained what needed to be done, but could only give a ball park range for the costs (which I sort of understand). I asked if it would resolve the issue with the engine light being on, and he told me he did not know why it was on. This was frustrating since it was something I asked them to check when I brought it in. When I asked if they could check it, he told me it wasn't on anymore so he couldn't. I got in the car and sure enough, it was on. Because they gave me a $25 credit for my wait, I decided to give them another try. I have always had good service with them. They were busy, so I assumed it was just a fluke issue. Although I have to admit, the guy that I was working with seemed put out by every question I asked. I called back to schedule the repairs and verify the ballpark quote I received. I was told they could make the appointment but someone would call back with a quote. I waited 4 hours and never got a call so I checked in with them. After being transferred around, I was told the original tech would have to call me with the quote. 3 hours later, still no call. I called back to cancel my appointment. I explained why and the guy (same one from the oil change that seemed put out) said, "Ok, I've got it cancelled." No attempt to get me a quote, no apology, nothing. I guess they are too busy and don't need my business anymore. Time to find a new mechanic. read more
