I appreciate that the director is always looking for ways to improve and grow the school, which is not always the case at small private schools. My kids have learned the skills that will help them succeed in life and contribute positively to their community. This is the kind of school that will change the world: fully inclusive, inspiring, and socio economically as well as racially diverse. The Head of School, Augusta, is very dedicated to the success of this school, she is very knowledgeable in child development and education, she supports and makes MIT a beautiful community and a great environment to thrive! It has been few months since we moved and yet we often talk about our positive experience at MIT. A real gem, we were lucky to be a part of their community. We really miss this place!

If I can't trust that there is a working phone or that someone will pick up the phone for a tour, why would I risk leaving my child in your care? I called both locations. No luck. I will not be moving forward with touring either location and I wouldn't leave your children here until the communication is clear and consistent for parents. Not to mention, this tour was scheduled by a team member who called ME to accommodate me and my family for the tour. I hope a leader can change this for future family's. Well wishes to the parents and children

The people working here have fragile emotions and they take it out on the parents to the detriment of children. My son had bruises, rashes and multiple incidents of the staff losing him/being unaware of his whereabouts. What else? Passive aggressive employees speaking through my child in the third person like "I see mommy carried you in today" which points to a low level of emotional intelligence. To top it off, the accreditations listed on the website don't appear to be real or valid. The school leaders child gets to attend, presumably for free and receives top notch care (I'm sure they know where this child is at all times ) while the rest of the families shell out between 2k and 2500k a month for subpar treatment. If I could rate with zero stars I would. Protect your children by not sending them to this toxic environment.

After touring SoulShine, a virtual group tour, we were not impressed and felt that prospective families should know about the schools structure before applying. This group of facilities does not operate to the level of a preschool and instead would be better reflected as a nature based daycare. The director who toured us was over the Kirkwood location but we saw photos of all three facilities. The rooms were well furnished but the curriculum in each space was greatly lacking with a student-led approach focusing on centers rather than a structured teaching day. We did not hear about the daily curriculum or milestone tracking for our students development. The tours involvement of curriculum seemed to be focused on what they had in each space (toys, playgrounds, book corner) rather than the learning. We were immediately put off at viewing the Kirkwood location when shown that the infant room opens directly to the outside of the building. While I am sure there are safety precautions in place there is not a way that I could feel comfortable as a parent knowing my newborn could potentially be interacting with strangers that approach the building. We will not be applying to this or any of the SoulShine locations and feel it is a overpriced daycare option and severly lacking preschool option.

Skip to the final situation the daycare director called me at 7am and LIED and stated they fully closed the 2-3 year old class down until further notice (This was a lie) they were still doing tours for the age group and in fact didnt shut down this age group because when I showed up to simply pick up my daughters belongings there were two parents on the porch for pick up kids ages 2-3 of age. I was greeted by a worker I won't say anyone's name and was told to leave the premises and my child was withdrawn in which I was confused about because me or her father did not withdraw her...when I was asked to leave I was like I need all of her stuff I was handed by a parent "some" not all of my daughters stuff by a parent of a 3 year old who came out to give me the bag (unprofessional) ... Additionally that worker told my Childs father that my daughter was a spreader of pink eye at the daycare which was not true after being confronted by two staff members at the door I then after took my child to the doctor about her eyes being red I informed the school director she didnt have pink eye it was from her lung condition. Additionally I was asked to pick her up early due to a staff shortage I asked other parents about this and was informed that they were not asked to come early at all....... I have attempted to reach the owner however I have not heard back, I have also asked for the original application and payment record however I have not heard back from anyone..... Maybe this all stemmed from me emailing the new director about being respectful and effective communication or me suggesting that if every day there is a new rule then to please put it on paper so that parents understand and then the parents can sign it to fully understand the new rules.... just wanted to share my experience with this daycare I hope that owner(s) will start to care more about hearing parents out but I guess once people get a few locations they are above an appropriate response Like Share

Was then told they don't do infant care (currently expecting) and to check the website. Checked the website again along with GA department of early learning (where I will be filing a complaint) which clearly states they do. I would have never made an appointment nor my appointment been accepted just to drive there and be turned away. To be honest I felt Discriminated against and not a good feeling being 6 months pregnant. When asked what age due the take children and it was a weird pause and said 14 months which is a odd age. I called from the parking lot to let them know that their website in face did say infant care. Lady didn't seem to care nor apologetic. Now that I qm looking at the reviews on which I wish I would have check before I came I would NEVER TRUST MY CHILD HERE!!!

During the time that the school was closed to in-person learning, it was decided that there would be a virtual learning option where packets would be available for pickup at the end of the week and all materials and lessons would be in the packet to help guide us clueless parents on what to do. There were bi-weekly zoom calls with my son's teacher, Ms. Jasmine, and I appreciated all of her guidance during that time and how easy it was to communicate with her. When the discussion started regarding whether or not the school would open for in-person learning, I loved that there was a townhall meeting for all parents/guardians to ask questions and voice our concerns. We received very detailed communication about how things would look when, and if, school reopened and this helped calm my fears a lot. Now that in-person learning has been back in session for more than a month and a half, I must say that I truly feel everyone has done a wonderful job keeping our little ones safe. The class sizes are super small (of which I absolutely love) and my son's teacher is just the sweetest and the best teacher I could ask for. This little 21-month-old is a ball of energy and she keeps him busyyyyy and updates us with things that he is doing in class and I never wonder whether or not he's okay because she is always reaching out letting my husband and I know what he's doing/has done in class. The skills that he has learned in this short period back has been amazing and being someone who loved her Montessori based education as a child, I am thrilled and sooooo thankful to have Grow Montessori. If you're looking for childcare that is literally going to help your child grow, and a staff that is truly compassionate, kind, devoted to the children they serve, this is the place for you.
