Riverside High School - What a Joke I'm a dad of two kids at this school, and I'm beyond pissed. It's regularly over 100 degrees inside. No AC, no airflow -- just pure misery. My kids come home looking like they ran a marathon. This isn't just uncomfortable -- it's unsafe. The school is falling apart. Bathrooms are disgusting, ceilings are busted, and no one seems to care. I've called, emailed, even showed up in person -- and all I get is excuses.The school is neglecting these kids ,they blame it on the kids for not voting for some rise as one event and sports are more miserable than ever not even enough gyms for the school and other sports, period. Riverside High School is, hands down, one of the worst educational environments I've encountered. The school is in terrible condition filthy facilities, neglected classrooms, and a complete lack of care for student wellbeing. But what truly makes this place unbearable is the behavior of the vice principal, Amy Owens. Instead of being a role model, Ms. Owens is a source of constant stress and trauma for students. She is known to use inappropriate language, overstep boundaries, and inject herself into situations where her presence only makes things worse. It's incredibly disturbing to see someone in a leadership role targeting younger students and creating an atmosphere of fear rather than support. If you're looking for a safe, nurturing environment for your child this is not the place. Avoid Riverside High School until serious changes are made. read more

My family has had a great experience with the schools, the teachers, the support staff and the district superintendent. Lots of communication, lots of focus on the community and a solid commitment to higher education as well as the trades. Solid athletics along with things like FFA. read more

We moved from Southern California to Chattaroy Wa. My 3 youngest were in high school which was a huge transition for them. From the receptionist to the superintendent, they treated us so very well. Riverside school district did all they could to make the transition a successful one. The support and love was amazing! Coaches were great as well. They graduated during the 1st year of covid. I cried with joy at the support and love provided for our students. A truly memorable event! We love Riverside school district!! 10/10 for us. read more

I also want to say that you don't want to put your child in this school. First of all, my daughter and I were waiting to talk to the principal and the 2 older woman working in the front office had made a comment about an autistic child screaming. They said that's why the mother didn't want to come pick her up. That's someone's disabled child they're talking about. Then my daughter has an IEP and that teacher yells and cusses at the students in her class. She keeps telling my daughter things like she won't make to job core and the pe teacher pulled her out in front every one in class because I am on workmen comp and couldn't afford to get her a different pair of gym shoes. My daughter is getting bullied by some of the teachers. I think they need to rethink how the employees are running the school. My daughter is so sick of it . That she's ready to drop out. read more

In my opinion and experience with the Riverside school district is far different then what the individuals are posting the only positive that came out of my children being in the District in the time they were was KEN RUSSELL AND CHATTAROY ELEMENTARY. Riverside middle school could not have been any worse than it was for my daughter. Her self esteem and well being took a complete dumb starting in this school she had asked for help several times on several occasions because of situations she was facing and not one staff member stepped up to help her. This school has a severe racism problem and refuses to address but instead says that "it is due to the parents out here believing what they believe". like for some reason that makes it acceptable?? it's a joke! the amount of inappropriate things said by children and staff denying that there is even a possibility kids are saying the outrageous things they are saying this district is crap aside from KEN RUSSELL AND CHATTAROY its sad they even have to be associated to the distric. read more
