This little shop is next to Oyster City Brewing so while Ben was inside the brewery, I popped in to…read morecheck it out. The shop offers unique items that are mostly coastal inspired. I saw a cute sea urchin bowl that I knew would go well with my mother's bathroom theme so I took a picture to send to her. After taking some pictures I saw a sign that stated absolutely no photos. Umm, well too late on that part and honestly seems a little crazy to me. Given the price points of some of the items, I would never just take the plunge and buy something without confirmation if for someone else. Another reason it seemed crazy to me was because the most if not all the items weren't one of kind. Maybe a piece of art here or there but they had Burt's Bees items which is sold everywhere and multiple numbers of same items, books, etc. The shop was very cute and I did like several items in there for gifts but did not make any purchases. Maybe if ever in the area again.

They have a fantastic selection of soaps, lotions, candles, clothing, as well as jewelry. I was able to find a very unique and special necklace for a gift, and while I was there I was able to find a greeting card amongst their wide selection to accompany it. However, my favorite thing about Riverlily is Emma & Ivey's Beautiful Eggs with Gulf Sunrise Yolks. This was the last place I would have thought to find farm fresh eggs, but they have them. They are pleasing both to the palate and the eye. Stop in: you will not leave disappointed, nor empty handed.

The nautical decor here is pitifully over-done, a niche business maybe in some way, but those thoughts are buried in the tales from the old shop reviewed here, you can still see the old decaying abandoned building on a seaside street on the edge of town. I entered this new shop without reservations even after listening to a pair of customers exiting the business filled with disappointment. I had no prior knowledge or bias, so I own my opinion expressed here. There was no interaction with the staff, she seemed pre-occupied behind the counter sitting with her back to the customers the entire time. I live near a beach so I completely understand the seafaring theme but I had no idea by the store name that I was entering a shop with such a narrow focus so I guess that was my biggest disappointment besides the pricing, I felt the quality of a lot of the pieces didn't match the asking price but then again nothing here had me drooling to negotiate a better price. I walked the entire property in under fifteen minutes which was plenty of time to view everything including a little room off the main floor that was partially filled with Native American art and trinkets, personally I wouldn't have a reason to stop in again...

The brilliant white tower looked beautiful against the deep-blue Florida sky, and the surrounding grounds provided several excellent angles for photographs. Inside the museum, the displays explained the lighthouse's history and included a particularly interesting exhibit about the Fresnel lens and how its system of prisms concentrated and projected the light far out to sea. The lighthouse, museum and island setting combine to make this a fascinating stop along Florida's Forgotten Coast. Cape St. George Light 2B East Gulf Beach Drive St. George Island, FL 32328

I do appreciate it after driving hrs. We paid $7 per person to clime it. One thing I recommend do legging exercise at home and people overweight wont feet the square space to reach to the top part on the wall metal stairs you need to hold on to it to clime up very narrow whom ever has long legs will be difficult too since the steps and space don't give you room to fold them. We headed to the beach afterwords to my surprise being in the Golf coast the water was clean and warm. Not shells almost very disappointing. A few people some music playing in the background nothing disturbing. One thing I did liked was the kids box beach toy available by the sand I guess you bring it back to it. Very relaxing place I amused till next time!
