My son would have not known the difference but I was disappointed since it was a rather large hand corsage and so I had no choice but to pull it apart and break it. I don't usually leave reviews, but this felt important to share…read more I ordered a $100 flower arrangement from The Petal to send to my grandmother while she was on her deathbed. I live out of state and couldn't be there, so this was something meaningful I wanted to do for her. I also couldn't really afford to spend that much right now, but it felt important. When my family sent me a photo, I was honestly surprised at how small the arrangement was compared to what's shown on their website. The flowers themselves were nice, but the size and overall value didn't match what I expected for $100. This ended up being the last time I was able to send my grandma flowers before she passed. I reached out and the only resolution they offered was 15% off a future order. Given the situation, that didn't feel like a meaningful resolution. Spend more money in the future to be disappointed again. I gave them a chance to make it right, but unfortunately they didn't.

I've used major online flower retailers and third-party middleman services before, and it has often been disappointing, with flowers that were not fresh, overpriced, or did not match the advertising. My husband had a bouquet of mixed flowers delivered to me on Thursday and told them stargazer lilies were my favorite and asked them to put together a cheerful arrangement around those - they NAILED IT! A gorgeous pink creation that looks as beautiful and fresh today (Sunday) as it did the day they were delivered (even after a trip home in the heat from my office)! Friday was my bday and he had them deliver 12 red and 6 white roses to me. They are what made me decide to write this review. I normally don't care all that much for roses because they usually disappoint by drooping over or withering, plus the arrangements are usually pretty underwhelming. Man, let me tell you, the roses from Paeonia are the ones you see in pictures and movies - huge, great smelling, opening perfectly, and arranged with lots of unique greenery. I posted pics of both bouquets in the picture gallery. Can't say enough good about this place. Highly recommend!
