Ordered memorial flowers for family friend for $150.00 and much to my surprise the additional fees came to $42.74. I expected a delivery fee and tax, however, the owner explained I picked the highest county for tax base and there was an additional delivery fee because of delivery on Saturday. FYI- They also charge back the credit card fee. When I questioned her on that charge her comment was " somebody has to pay it". I would never say that to a customer. Not impressed to say the least. If you're a small business and you want to build your business opportunity I would use a different approach with your customers I wish I had chosen a different florist. read more

For my uncles funeral. Promised original floral arrangement. She said she listens carefully. I spent three lengthy conversations about a specific design. Unorganized. No electronic communication. The planter was average looking. I asked for specific colors for the bow and ribbons representing a country my uncle was a pastor missionary. Not only did it not have one of the flag colors it was a generic Thanksgiving bow. I wanted several tiny birds to honor the Audubon Society and got one big Red Robin and a butterfly? My cousins were going to keep the memory honoring my uncle. I was so upset and at a funeral especially. Siblings helped pay for it and I was not happy. An assistant said she would have owner call. After a week no word. I left a message of how upsetting this was. When I finally talked to her she yelled at me and argued with me and made up lies. She said she hadn't realized how important the ribbons were. So a green, yellow, black, blue ribbon turned into a generic fall bow is beyond me. Although I spent a good half hour describing it, the country, the importance of it. It's easily googled to look up the flag. She said she was embarrassed by my complaint. And yet I was the very disappointed customer. I asked for half my money but now wish I got it all back. There is no reason in earth to scream at a customer who just was at a funeral. Absolutely insensitive and ridiculous. Terrible! Unoriginal! Didn't listen to my order at all. I don't like butterflies at funerals too cliche. Not creative as stated by owner. I'll start off by saying that I am writing this review to warn future customers before they spend money hoping to surprise a loved one with something special. I ordered the Duluth arrangement for $60 including fees, to be delivered for my partner's birthday. I chose this arrangement for the beautiful lilies and the wonderful colors presented (see attached photos). What my partner received was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like what I ordered. It lacked color and there was not ONE type of flower pictured in the arrangement I ordered. When my partner sent a picture of the flowers, I was mortified. I don't have a lot of money and spent what little I did have on the flowers to brighten up her cubicle. What a disappointment. After receiving the photo, I called Design A Bunch to relay what had happened and express my disappointment and concern. The lady I spoke to (I believe her name was Laura or Laurel) was argumentative and kept cutting me off. She admitted that she didn't have one single flower or plant that was pictured in the photo, but was "very proud" of her design. I expressed that although I am happy that she feels proud of her work, I did not order that arrangement to receive something completely different. After going back and forth, I finally gave up. When I told her how disappointed I was in the arrangement she asked me if my partner said the flowers were pitiful or disappointing. Really lady? Of course she didn't tell me they were disappointing! But is that the point? This woman clearly was unable to take responsibility for her choices and her misleading her customers. I didn't even bother to ask for a refund because what is done is done. The birthday is over, the flowers were already delivered, and at this point, there is nothing left to do. Take a look at the pictures, it will bring you a good laugh. read more

Design a bunch saved our wedding day! The day before our wedding we went to check out our flowers at the florist we choose. It was terrible. They had the wrong colored roses for our wedding. We tried every place in the south metro and no one had the rose color we needed. We were getting desperate at it was 4pm the night before our wedding. My last call was to Design a Bunch. I spoke to a woman 30 minutes before they closed for the day, (cant remember her name) she put me on hold and called her vendor. Came back on the line 5 minutes later and said my vendor has them! (We needed 75 roses) She gave us the vendor info and off we went to pick them up. She was the most helpful person and I would HIGHLY recommend Design A Bunch for anyone who is doing wedding flowers. The flowers were perfect and the Design A Bunch team came through and followed up numerous times (even after hours) to make sure everything went smoothly for us. They literally saved our wedding day. I just returned from a dear friend's visitation, and the arrangement i ordered was quite a bit smaller than expected. That would not have been so bad, but the flowers themselves were FALLING APART. There were white lilies that were fine, but the roses and tulips were too far open and losing petals. Both looked like they had been beaten around. There was also not the variety in colors that i had requested. The lady to who took my order said they would be "really nice," Instead, my final tribute to my friend was sad and embarrassing. read more
