We really enjoyed an afternoon at the Riverside Discovery Center. It was just before Halloween so there were many carved pumpkins lining the entry. There were also dozens of places to take photos with Halloween wooden cutouts. The animals were all friendly and we took a ton of photos. We especially loved the petting zoo as the animals wanted to be pet. The kids did an archeological "dig" and enjoyed the roaming peacocks. We did really enjoy our visit to this location. I would love to give more stars, but they just didn't really have as much to see as I would have liked. We wandered around mostly watching the peacock. Apparently there was an incident with the big cats, so they were...no longer with us. The "petting" area was lackluster and downright confusing, although the goats were so sweet. Loved seeing the orangutans and spider monkeys, poor things. The splash pad was also down the day we were there. read more

Amazing family friendly little zoo! It was less than $10 for adults, even cheaper for kiddos. They have zoo passes affordable for the whole family. They have a variety of exhibits with everything from Bears to Zebras! For the warm days, they have a great splash pad! read more

Very cute little zoo. Inexpensive and very kid friendly. Enjoyed our time here for about an hour and a half. Able to feed the fish and ducks. There is also a petting zoo. read more

Place is nice. Its a small zoo and the animals are active. Got to feed sheep and donkeys. New grizzly bear was nice. We took around 2 hours to walk around and stopped and looked offen. There is a kid wet play ground area but we didnt par take to it read more
