I brought a delicate white top here to be cleaned as a trial run as I saw they had good reviews. They did a great job with my top. I was charged $6.95 for it which was good My gripe is with the $10 minimum purchase requirement for card usage. Of course my purchase was not $10 and I did not have cash on me so I had to come back another day. It is 2018 this is very annoying and an inconvenient for your customers. I understand you do not want to pay whatever fee or percentage card usage requires but this is unacceptable. Also it states that they do wedding alterations. When I inquired about it I could not get a straight answer. First, I was told it would be very expensive and stated I understood that and then I was told the person was out indefinitely. Then it was they could do it but i would have to go to their home and then the answer changed again and I was told they won't be doing it for awhile. I won't be back. read more

So I went to Riverside Cleaners today. They are under new management and the new owners are extremely warm. Susan, the owner, makes you feel welcomed and knows what she is doing. She told me she's been doing this for 20+ years. They do custom tailoring too which is great since I'm short and have to get everything altered. They dry clean wedding gowns, draperies, suedes, leathers, furs and launder shirts. They even do shoe repairs. I was able to get same day dry cleaning service for my dresses and cardigans. Since so many people recommended this place for their dry cleaning, I figured I would take a chance and get my wedding dress cleaned here. They were honest and realistic to which stains could and could not be taken out. It took about a month for the dress to be clean because it needed to be soaked multiple times with cleaners. The couple here are two of the nicest people I have ever met. No matter how long it has been since I've been I to drop the boyf's or my clothes off, they'll take a few minutes to ask about your day and make sure you're ok with their recommendations. I had a chiffon-y dress that needed to be shortened so I could be outside comfortably and the seamstress promised it by the end of the week. When I popped in a few days earlier to pick up some clothes, the dress was ready and fit perfectly! She also made me a scarf out of the extra material as a wrap if it got chilly :) plus I had a leather bag that had a small rip, and they sent it to a leather repair shop nearby. I've used Riverside Cleaners a few times now, when I've needed to have my suit and dress shirts cleaned for weddings, job interviews...now that I think of it, a funeral. And I gotta say, every time, I have been extremely satisfied. I often work nights, as such I am asleep during their hours of operation. On just a few days notice, I needed to have my suit dry cleaned. I can only stop in early morning to get it done, and I needed it the next day. I waited in the parking lot after work, and I was happy to see that they opened at 6:30AM. I told the man behind the counter that I needed it the next day, at this same time, and he said no problem. I showed up the next day, and sure enough he showed up at 6:30AM again. He got it all done and it was very excellent. Extremely nice and cordial. I highly recommend. Recently took several shirts to this cleaner after another cleaner could not get spots out. They told me they would work on one shirt and call me to let me know how they did. Upon getting the stains out of the first shirt, I received a call letting me know and asking if I would like to do this with my others. They handled this situation promptly. I appreciated their followup. I recently took a pair of shorts there asking if they could be altered. They explained because of the way they were made, it would be difficult and may not look good. I recently moved to the area and needed to find a dry cleaner for my work shirts. I did a little Yelp searching and found Riverside who had pretty good reviews. I brought in 12 work shirts to get dry cleaned and and pressed. They did a fantastic job! Great service and quick turnaround for a competitive price. I also needed a pair of suit pants tapered and they tailored them exactly how I wanted. As a result of this my wife brought in two dresses for altering which came out perfect. Cant really speak on the dry cleaning aspect of it but I've been here two times so far for alterations. First for a small alteration for my gf's dress which was done in 2 days. The second for my suit which was done in about 5-7 days and they even pressed it for me. Each of these times I've needed the items to be ready for a specific event and they've always managed to get it ready before then. I've been to a few places where the alterations seem sloppy but this place seems to put a lot of quality into their work. read more

I unfortunately do not remember the woman's name, but she was very honest with me and told me that she did not think the pen would come out but she'd try her best. She got it out! I was so grateful because I really wanted to wear the dress to a birthday party I was throwing for my mom. She was as excited as I was that I would be able to wear the dress to the party. About a month ago, my dry cleaner in King of Prussia closed unexpectedly. No notice. My clothes...were they gone? I had to find a new cleaner and Riverside was near work. I dropped off my batch of clothes, told them my sob story about losing my last batch of clothes...they asked a few questions about it but didn't know my old cleaners. Yet, magically, a few hours later, my cell phone rang, and the old cleaners rep directed me to where I could find my clothes, held for me. Ok cleaning service, and clothes come out nice for most part. BUT I don't like the older woman who was always working there when I came in. She asked me twice if I was pregnant when I was not. Another time, when I actually was pregnant (about seven months), she gave me advice about how to take care of the baby - not sending it to daycare because that's bad for the child, for example -- when I just wanted to drop off clothes. When I came in WITH baby once, she congratulated me, then asked me when I was having another, pointing at my belly. I was about four months postpartum, still had a little belly, and was also exhausted and hormonal. What the hell, lady? I guess she was obsessed with babies but I didn't a appreciate the comments. Also, I had a coat cleaned there and they were unable to remove the stains, but still charged full price for it. Finally, this cleaner is the most expensive I've ever used. So I wouldn't recommend at all. I have heard they are under new management so maybe that will help. read more
