This school sucks. My son goes here, and he was stabbed on the first day of school because a black student wanted his wallet. I will not be sending my kids here next year. The staff are paid too much money, and little goes to student activities aside from football. They can't pay for student services or fixing the parking problem, but they can tear down a [perfectly good football field with bleachers to put in a brand new football field and track. The football field is already turf and very nice. This school blows. If you are looking for a good school, i would recommend LT High School. There are a lot of mexicans and blacks. You can feel safe there and be loved for being who you are. Im a transsexual man and i believe that we should all be treated equal. My wife Bertha Lovejoy is a feminist as well. Riverside Brookfield High School is one of the best in the nation. Newsweek just rated this high school one of the 100 Best High Schools in America, but that does not tell the whole story. Riverside Brookfield High School's graduation rate is just over 99%, it earned the highest rating from Standard and Poors for academic achievement, an A+ (highest rating) from School Search Inc. for academic performance, and it offers amazing opportunities for its students. This school has a warm and supportive environment, and yet students are held to high expectations. Other top high schools in the Chicago area have 3,000 and 4,000 or more students. Riverside Brookfield has just as many programs, activities, sport teams, and Advanced Placement classes, but it has a school population of about 1,500. The community just approved $ 65 million in renovations, so in a few years RB will have an exceptional facility to match its outstanding programs. This is an amazing place. read more

Disappointed in this establishment. They had no respect for me, my family, or my friends. I came to this school with bountiful amounts of Bulldog Bucks (a respected currency in most banks and businesses), offering them to do-gooders. And what happens to my offer? It is mocked and ridiculed beyond belief. And don't get me started on my ideals of character. Where I come from, character is to be counted, and yet at RB it is to be trashed. I am disgruntled, disgraced, disappointed, disgusted, and other dis-words I don't even know. Two stars. RB high school it is a great school there are many things to do sports wise and clubs. The atmosphere is really nice most of the teachers all right . The school grows and evolves each year but that is the role of the students and teachers. the lunches are good but should mix it up more. the school is relatively small and the front of the school is beautiful and it is great we have the brookfield zoo in our back yard. and i hear the wrestling team is great they have awesome coaches. and hopefully the rb football team will win a game for once. read more

Definitely not the best haunted house I've been to, but also not the worst. Sure, there were some perks, but c'mon, the scariest costumes were "school children" (and they weren't even dressed up like zombies or nothing!). The best part, and the reason I am giving it 3 stars, is when the "cops" (btw really great costumes) tackled me and took me to "jail". Overall, I'd say there are better haunted houses but the cop thing was kinda unique. read more
