The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily, the towels were fluffy and soft.we had a short stay there in 2007. they offer B&B andB&BEM the choice is yours, all meals we haqd was top quality. the people who owned it were lovely. the only downside isthe area can be busy with young people. Try going out of season.

They are very accommodating. They don't normally serve lunch and when we arrived we were hungry. They suggested to go the Mermaid Inn that was still serving lunch. We were offered dinner for £15 per person. We decided to have dinner out. We forgot towels for the beach. I asked reception and they loaned us one, it saved us money from having to go out and buy towels. The rooms were always cleaned, towels we replaced. Bed was comfortable. I requested a room with an ocean view and we were given one of the best views in the hotel, it might have been the best. If you leave your windows open at night you can hear the waves crash, it is very calm and relaxing to go to sleep too. An ocean breeze to cool your room is always nice. Breakfast is a tradition English break fast, it is included with the price of the room. Breakfast was nice, sausages cooked to perfection, egg wasn't over cooked and the bacon was nice. The only downer is I found a large hair in my mushrooms, I didn't complain, I didn't want to embarrass the owners, so I quietly took it out and just didn't eat my mushrooms. I noticed the hair came off of the cook because I saw him entering the hotel wearing an apron and the squiggly black hair came from his head. They provide nice tea, coffee and hot cocoa in the room and it is replaced with a new stock daily. Overall enjoyed my stay at the Kenton Hotel. Look forward to my next stay with them. Another plus is I booked by accident the wrong dates and through booking.com. I was told through booking.com that I was not able to get a refund, booking.com called the hotel and asked if they would refund me. They did refund me because I had just made the booking. I ended up re-booking with the correct dates. This is a fair hotel and I will make sure I give them my money next time I am in Cornwall.

It's a great B&B, very well located, run by a delightful couple who are 100% focussed on meeting your needs and showing huge hospitality. Great breakfasts, excellent, clean rooms with ensuites, and a little outdoor sitting area for guests. Close to two magnificant beaches, 2 mins walk from a superb local pub, a few hundred yards from the coastal walk, and 35 mins drive from the Eden project. A great place to stay. HIGHLY recommended.

It is not vey expensive if you share it with friends (I think 8 people can stay there). Lovely location overlooking the Camel estuary and the sea. Well maintained gardens. Two good restaurants, the main one in the hotel, and a poolside cafe. Service was good. Rock is nearby, and there is the foot ferry over to Padstow. Hotel is close to the coast path, for walks to the surf beach at Polzeath, or to the huge sands of Daymer bay in the other direction. Recommended.
