They are just as expensive as new build apartments next door but yet 20 years old. Our A/C was out for several days and management was too cheap to bring in outside A/C company, so instead incompetent maintenance proceeded to make matters worse, fill our apartment with smoke, run up our energy bill by $100+ and refuse to compensate us for our trouble. They finally got A/C company out there and it was fixed within 20 mins. Before, our apartment was 89 degrees while I have medical issues! When we move out, my partner requested a walk through multiple times. Management said that we didn't need a walkthrough because our apartment is spotless (I clean daily) and they weren't going to charge us for anything. Come to find out they charged over $100+ for bathroom and kitchen cleaning despite our apartment being "spotless!" It was only when I called and threatened to sue based on breach of lease (they are required to do a walkthrough in order to charge for damages) that they agreed to have me come back and "reclean" and they wouldn't charge us! I'm sure they will comment on here that all the issues above were all my fault, and they did what they were supposed to do based on lease agreement blah blah blah, but that's fine! I know in my heart that I was an amazing tenant, quiet and clean, and management here are crooks! Avoid this place and rent next door.

Then let's talk about when you walk out here at night after 11 o'clock ..... I have at least 48 times in the last 2 months run up on people selling crack smoking crack and doing all kinds of things I can't even mention on the Internet it's rampant here.... i have insomnia and am up sp i gp walk to get sleepy or go put under the stars to pray . I have had attempts made on my life 3 times in this complex and yes some of those attemps were from other issues ...but 3 were definately due to what i saw ie the peoples faces .... and yet they're charging me 20% to move out and I have made them quite aware of the difficulties I've had while I've lived here .. i discussed it with several maintainance staff who were aware... So what I'm thinking about Preston run is there's been so many people move out and there is a walkers group ...who see and discuss .....like i say so many y people move out since I've lived here and I've known a lot of them and they move out early so this place has quite a great deal going if the people who share with each other have told acxurate knowledge.... that i cant say for sure but this idealic community on the surface has a very dark side... i truly never had neighbors tell me they are happy proud to believe themselves to be witches ..no im not joking.....!!! I was asked today in the office to give the names and what I had seen like they think I'm stupid I still got 60 days to live here and I'm going to tell on everybody and get myself killed I think not... Also as I explain to the lady that apparently runs this place I am not a snitch nor will I ever be will I ever be I do not judge people however I do not choose to pay what it costs to live here and live among people of this Nature... I write this because I don't want anyone else to come in here and look at the perfection on the surface that might be up late at night like me and can't even walk through a parking lot one out of every 5 times without seeing a drug deal it go down and why do I say that because I've seen it happen over and over and over and I have made that clear to 4 individuals at this complex... And their responses for me to tell on the people doing it... Like I said I'm a lot of things but I'm not a snitch.. I have a degree in psychology and 4 doctorates .... I have never been in jail nor do I have a criminal record in case you're wondering.. I do know the slime because I hear it every day here! So I'll be leaving September the 25th myself and at that time I will be paying my 4200 supposedly unless I get lucky and whoever owns this place listens to me and does the right thing and lets me leave free of charge because I shouldn't pay because I'm having danger to my life because I'm seeing all these things I shouldn't even be having to face ......for.near 2 grand almost a month I'm having to live around drug dealers crack addicts and people that profess to be witches... I've lived in apartments pretty much my whole life and I must say that the office and maintenance personnel are top notch! Friendly, responsive and professional every one of them. They never make me feel like I'm a bother and quickly resolve everything. We're all extremely happy with this community.

I had to do everything over the phone, as I was in the midst of a house purchase, which fell through, and out of town! So I was scrambling with a week to find a place. She helped me through the application process, picking out a unit and everything was ready when I got there with a truck load of my belongings! I couldn't have been more thankful! The apartment complex has 2 swimming pools, an exercise facility, a computer/office, BBQs and a fire pit. I think the hours are from 8 to 10pm, which is plenty! Anything after 10 pm is just inviting trouble :) They also have a "Cares" group, which is a couple that goes around and welcomes you to the neighborhood and arranges for get togethers with the residents 2 or 3 times a month. The complex is close to shopping and restaurants. Publics Shipt delivers groceries there too :) The units themselves are large, open concept, complete with stainless steel appliances, washer and dryer and large balconies. You have to check them out before they are all gone! Oh and they are brand new! No one has lived in it before me :)

After she did they claimed they never received it. I eventually contacted the fair housing authority and they tried to bully them too. They've charged me pet fees my entire stay. Then they increased my rent over $200 my first renewal! The apartment is full of black mold and I can't be in my room without having asthma attacks! I'm getting the hell out of here! I'm not even going to wait until my lease is up. I should never have renewed it to begin with.
