The hurricane altered course only a few miles offshore, missing this marina. The day after the marina organized a relief effort to the Bahamas with small boats. Bring it in when you get parked come into the office and see me. A few hours later, I then proceeded to take the sailboat while docking. Timothy walked up and said oh hey, I'm helping another customer I'll come back and help you with dock lines. to whom he never returned into office and met with another woman by the name of Lori, she was kind at first, but then started getting pushy as they found out the sailboat that was bought was currently kicked out of this marina previously from its old owner. at this point they allowed me to pay which I agreed to $108 per day and after three days, Timothy called me up and said that he wanted the boat moved and that I was living on the boat out said he was calling the Hollywood police and I was illegally talking when I paid my bills and told him upfront what I was doing just docking. The boat didn't require water or power hook ups whatsoever this place is a scam. Beware, they will promise that the boat will be safe and that the boat could stay for, however long it needed as long as nobody was living aboard the boat which we had not the boat has been locked up with locks which she could clearly see from the outside. You needed a lot of electrical work and there was quite a bit of corrosion. Matt and the guys at Boathouse went through every repair that the boat needed explained it to me and didn't do anything without discussing it with me first. When I went to pick up the boat it was much less expensive than I expected. Boat repairs are typically pretty painful but like I said I was pleasantly surprised. The boat is running great all the work done with high-quality they took the time to explain to me everything that was done. All know just an outstanding experience and a bunch of really friendly nice people. I'm happy to have found the place that I trust to work on my boat. I won't take it anywhere else and I can't recommend them highly enough.

The place boasts a 10,000+ sq ft area for boaters to hang out and tell tall tales, a Captain's lounge, food areas, and so much more. This is a resort style marina with the upper class crowd in mind. The place is secured with a gate and you need a code to enter, and security seems to be great. I think it cost $2800 per month for an 82ft yacht to dock here, but dock fees include access to all the amenities, so that's a great bonus, if you use them. There is power, water, and all necessary hooks up at each dock slip. Easy access to your boat 24/7 with the correct gate codes.

Now that I have my own, I have continued to use it but only when I go out fishing. The ramp is a little steeper than some of the other local ramps, so I've used a couple others for comfort when time isn't an issue and fishin' ain't the mission. They used to be open 24 hours, but have limited down now during Covid. They open at 6AM, and you can get in as late as 7PM and come back whenever. There is a $20 ramp fee, but there is the added piece of mind of around-the-clock security. Can't go wrong with this place if you're in the Hollywood area.

But it is also a full service marina so they can handle most other situations such as mechanical and electric. They also allow "do it yourself" work and have both wet and dry storage. Being located way upstream off the Dania Cutoff on Anglers Avenue across from the Rustic Inn Crabhouse, it provides one of the best "safe harbors" you can find. Boat size, however, is limited by travel as to what may, or often may not fit under the Federal Highway (US 1) fixed bridge. If you initially drive here, it can be a little creepy as there appears no way to drive in. For security everything is gated off, then there isn't any intercom and they generally neither answer their phone nor return phone calls. About the best you can do is wait for someone leaving or someone entering and merely race through the then open gate.
