Although office initially seemed disorganized and unkept, the doctor was professional and performed my root canal in a painless manner. The receptionist made it quite obvious that their primary objective is financially motivated by demanding upfront partial payment, which by itself is not unusual nowadays. However, almost 2 months later when a bill was received after insurance and a substantial balance remained, I left a voicemail with office asking if I could proactively arrange a payment plan- (I am disabled with limited income). The response was a two part message-- the first rude by itself stating "they don't accept payment plans" and very condescending in nature. The second part, obviously recorded by accident, was an extremely unprofessional conversation between office staff about " how stupid some of these patients are"....."we need our $$--Dr Lewis gotta pay for that Lamborghini "...and 30 more seconds of derogatory remarks about patients in general.
Having spent over 30 years in healthcare, I found this to be one of the most unprofessional and disrespectful practices I have ever experienced and would not recommend them to anyone expecting to be treated in a manner certainly befitting their prices. read more
