That's my experience at every doctors office I've been to, until now. At One Medical in Brickell you're welcomed into an open living room setting by Bri and Eliza who are both super friendly and professional. Don't get too comfy in the waiting room because you'll be taken on time (in my case they took me early.) And it wasn't a nurse or assistant who came out to greet me. It was the doctor herself. Dr. Rosie Singh is awesome. Friendly, knowledgable, compassionate, very easy to talk with. She explained a medical condition better than the specialist who treated me. for it. She gave me around 30 minutes of her undivided attention (unlike a previous primary care physician who breezed in and out of the examining room in minutes!) Her follow up was same day. I went to have my lab work done after my physical and waited less than five minutes to be seen (I went on a weekday morning.) Adriana took my blood sample and was a gentle pro (despite my uncooperative veins!) Plus, my lab results were ready the very next day complete with Dr Singh's comments. Every inch of the office is immaculate. This is not your typical doctor's office visit. While I hope I don't have to visit frequently, it will be a pleasure to return to One Medical.

Later this year, I needed clearance for an upcoming surgery, which only required basic procedures like a blood test, EKG, an X-ray, and reviewing the results to confirm I was fit for surgery. My original surgery was scheduled for the end of July, but the hospital never received the necessary clearance documents from Dr. Thierry's office before the procedure. Since the surgery was rescheduled I only needed to repeat the blood work. I had the blood test done on Thursday morning, and it was sent to the lab. By Tuesday, I called Dr. Jacquemin's office, and the receptionist confirmed they had received the results, were preparing the documents, and would send them to the hospital that day--but they didn't. They failed to send them on Wednesday and Thursday as well. My surgery was scheduled for Friday morning. After another call to the office on Thursday afternoon, I was told, "We're working on it and sending it now" at ~3 p.m. I called the hospital 30 minutes later, and they still hadn't received anything. I called Dr. Jacquemin's office again, and they asked me to hold briefly. While on hold for 20-30 minutes, I biked to the office, where they finally told me, "We just signed your documents. We were waiting for the lab results and the doctor was with a patient". They lied to me because they had already confirmed on Tuesday that they had received the lab results. No apology, nothing. I spent nearly an hour there, making sure the hospital received everything. If you want to add a nerve-wracking experience on top of preparing for surgery, good luck dealing with this office.

The front desk staff are awful, Stephanie in particular. Called 5 times and was hung up on all 5.. again a doctors office with no customer service is not a good one I have worked in healthcare for nearly 20 years and have never experienced patient care handled in this manner. And last but not least if you disagree with them, they delete you off the Healow app with MY patient records and cut access to your medications..

I've been a firefighter paramedic for 13 years and my lung sounds had audible wheezing and crackles, I was seen by rn who spoke almost no English and told me that my lungs are clear. I asked for a chest x-ray and she told me they do not do x-rays at this location and that I would have to go to South Miami. I told her that I lived in broward County and she said " well I can give you a prescription and you can find a place on your own". An absolute waste of my morning, I'm still sick, no remedy, no apology. I told them I guess I'll just figure this out on my own.
