I had no idea until we got there and were walked back. Immediately, Dr. Willis talked about my daughter getting braces and insurance not paying for them because she didn't need them. I was like, "Huh?" We weren't there for a braces consult, there was no mention by anyone other than him of braces; it really seemed out of left field. Now I know when I schedule an appointment, that I need to request Dr. Lee, and will make a point of doing that. I like that they continue to let the parent go back with their child (upon request). Not every clinic does that. I just wish there wasn't such a long wait for an appointment because of that simple request. (We had to re-schedule her most recent cleaning due to illness and can't get in again for two months).

I offered to call in tomorrow to set up a new payment plan with the office and was denied by their office manager. As I left the office with my daughter, the office manager emerged from the back room as we were leaving to announce to the entire waiting room that my card on file kept getting denied. I told her I had switched banks and that I had not authorized them to continue to run my card. She told me I was wrong. I told her I could call back after I get paid again and SHE FOLLOWS ME AND MY FAMILY INTO THE PARKING LOT (as other people were arriving for their appointments) and yells across the parking lot "You'll be hearing from our lawyers!" As a local business owner, the experience was unprofessional to say the least. At most, it was an attempt to shame my family and I in front of other people. I pray that Dr. Ward speaks with his office manager and perhaps is able to offer any professional development resources to this woman. I have had 6 crowns in my life and each one was horrible experience and very traumatic. Dr. Berger was very meticulous in his work and pain management I almost fell asleep during the procedure.
