Made the trip with my daughters and other little girls as part of a slumber Party to see beauty and the beast. For a free show it was much more than we expected. We arrived a little late (right on time) and the place was packed so hard to find a good viewing spot. Only negative I have is the lack of parking and of course the vultures who want to charge for parking to make a buck off something the city had for the people.

Is that Kenny Wittry singing? Why yes it is.

Jeffersonville has turned into a great Friday night hot spot for live music! Along with so many great places to grab a bit or enjoy a drink, especially at one of the patio gardens. All with in a few blocks away. Last night I was asked to sit in on a song with the opening act Full Contact before JBH (Who was great), had a blast! (Picture of self included in post) Reviews of surrounding pubs and eatery's will be coming soon. Back to Jeffersonville's hospitality to offer us free concerts at a fantastic venue has it a go to for a fun evening or afternoon. Note; the music on Friday's starts at 7pm And is a spacious amphitheater, so come early.

What a beautiful stage! I was lucky to have been able to take in a show -- the Down Syndrome of Louisville talent show -- on this stage during one of the most beautiful days of the year. The temperature was perfect. The sky was blue. You can watch people make their way across the Big Four Bridge from the stage, and speaking of, next time I'm parking in Louisville and walking over the bridge to this stage. It was also so picturesque to see the Belle of Louisville and coal barges pass behind this stage. And adding something different to the mix, this stage is actually floating in the river. It's not a part of the shore but a floating vessel. There was also ample pavilion-style seating, and street parking -- in case you do decide to drive to the stage, as opposed to walking across the Big Four Bridge -- was not hard to find in the area. All in all, another wonderful reason to journey across the Ohio River into Indiana.

I should've come here earlier in the summer. It's a beautiful venue in Jeffersonville, a floating stage lined with tiki torches, with a tiered lawn for the audience to sit and enjoy concerts/events with the Ohio River as a backdrop. Directly across the river sits the Tumbleweed on River Road, boats cruise by, some stopping along the shore line to catch the music playing. On this evening, it was the Back to School Bash, a free event showcasing several local bands, many of the members still in high school, with bouncies for the younger set and a couple vendors pushing hot dogs and drinks. While some of the music wasn't really for my age set, the bands weren't bad and the boys had a blast.

The Yoga instructors are totally different, each has her own rhythms and cadences as she gently but firmly guides you through a session. The studio itself is comfortable and comforting. The atmosphere is calm although the yoga challenges each practitioner to the fullest extent of her ( or his) capabilities. These are obviously experienced and impeccably trained teachers who skillfully push each student to explore her ability and focus. Despite my age and obvious inexperience I have never left a yoga class with any pain or discomfort, and yet I feel myself strengthening and becoming more flexible. as I leave each session I drive away already looking forward to my next class. The props such as mats, bolsters, blocks etc. are clean, fresh and easily accessible. I strongly recommend these two studios ( New Albany and Jeffersonville) in every way and hope to see you there..

Toxic, Predatory, and Downright Embarrassing -- Stay Away…read more Hotworx Jeffersonville is an absolute disaster. The second you walk in, it's clear this place cares about one thing and one thing only: money. The staff are pushy salespeople in gym clothes. Once they've locked you into a membership, the smiles vanish, and you're treated like an inconvenience. Customer service? Nonexistent. The treatment of employees is even worse. One of the best staff members they had--professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring--was tossed aside without explanation. Her name was Jazmyn, and she was the only reason I stuck around as long as I did. Apparently, being competent and dedicated is a liability in this toxic, high-school-clique environment. The owners prefer sycophants over actual talent. Speaking of the owners: they're ghosts who micromanage from a distance, totally clueless about what goes on day to day. They tolerate inappropriate staff-client relationships, yet punish the people who actually take the job seriously. Add in their outrageous fees, refusal to accommodate medical freezes, and zero transparency, and you've got a business model built on exploitation. And now, just to prove the point, they keep deleting my reviews. Let me be crystal clear: I will keep posting this everywhere--Google, Reddit, social media, anywhere I can--because people deserve to know the truth. Stop silencing honest feedback the same way you mismanage your business. Six months of this circus was more than enough. I get better workouts for free on YouTube and better respect from a Walmart cashier. Hotworx Jeffersonville is overpriced, unprofessional, and rotten from the top down. Save your money and your sanity--go anywhere else.

She covers many aspects of yoga for body, mind and spirit. I learn something new about my practice and about yoga every time I go. Her classes have a personal touch and a genuine care for health and well-being. The classes are thoughtfully composed but also playful and fun. I leave feeling great after every class. The beginners class is actually my favorite. I think this class is great even if you've been practicing yoga for a while. These classes are slower paced and really focus on feeling for the alignment in the posture. It brings you back to the basics but you are still able to take the posture to whatever level you are comfortable with. The all levels classes are also great. They are faster paced than the beginners and incorporate a larger variety of poses. I highly recommend this studio based on enjoyment and results from how my body feels since I've been going. I always look forward to my next class.

I found Infinite Bliss (IB) in my early 20s (in it's previous location) and I am now in my early 30s and I can't say how much I love this studio and how much it's influenced me! The teacher's here are extremely knowledgeable and so so kind. It's a really different style of yoga than the Ashtanga style and it's modern offshoots (vinyasa, power yoga). Basically infinite bliss yoga is really strengthening and warming but it also super focused on alignment which keeps your super safe and helps prevent injury. If you're like me you like to push yourself and engage to the best of your ability. I've had yoga teachers encourage me to blow past my bodies natural limits, and that left me with injuries that set back my yoga practice and daily life. Not so at infinite bliss, the teachers here are really well educated and have an eye for alignment. But they will instruct you to do certain poses in a different way than most teachers and studios. They keep alignment in focus at all times but also take you into more advanced poses both warming strength-building poses and also lots of inversion and arm balances. So fun, a great community to learn in. I really can't say how much I love this studio! Now I've gone on to become a yoga teacher, and while I don't teach here (I live out of town now), I am soooo glad this studio was part of my yogic education. I still come back to learn and practice when I am in town! The classes cost a little more than some studios, but this helps support a living wage for the teachers and it is worth every penny, truly! They also have a rich foundation in yogic philosophy, particularly in tantric yoga philosophy which teaches you to the see the good in yourself and everyone. The owner, Denise, is a seriously superb yogini and teacher! I seruously can't say enough how wonderful this studio is. It's also a rare gem because it's an Anusara yoga studio. Back in the 90s and early 00s Anusara swept across the western world with many 100s of studios, but there was a scandal at the tip top of the school and now there are hardly any schools left. Less than a dozen in the entire US, and we have one right here in Louisville, KY I love infinite bliss, and more younger yogis should come!
