This is where the folks at Hot Vapes shine -- they are awesome. Unlike other shops I'd been to, everyone here was amazingly helpful, patient, and didn't make me feel like an idiot because I didn't have a graduate degree in electrical engineering. They walked me through all the options, from the basic kits on up to the advanced stuff. They explained the differences and didn't try to "up-sell" me to the expensive equipment -- instead, they helped me find the device that fit me best. Next, there's the equipment: They have most everything you'd want -- from super basic stuff, to the the advanced, and everything in between. I ended up falling somewhere in the middle and picked up an iTaste SVD ... It's easy to use, lets you customize power settings to adjust the vapor levels and taste, and is really durable. It also holds a couple different types of rechargeable batteries -- I use a large one for when I'm at work which lasts a day or two between charges, and a smaller one when I'm heading out for the night and want something a bit more discreet. Finally, there's the "Juice" or eLiquid: THEY HAVE THEIR OWN LAB! They have somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 different flavors to choose from, a tasting station where you can try them all, and are great at helping you find something you'll like. They make everything to order, so you may have to wait 5-10 minutes, but it's well worth the wait. You can also ask them to "customize" the flavors a bit if you want. For people trying to find a replacement for a "real" cigarette, they have the only liquid I've found that actually gives you the taste of an actual cigarette -- not just a tobacco leaf flavor, but something that comes amazingly close to the burning paper and tobacco taste you'd get from the real deal. It's called... get this: ILLUSION. So, on to the con: They have a sign, but it's on the inside and only visible if you're looking through their front window. On my first attempt to find them, I gave up. On my second attempt, I passed them twice despite my GPS telling me when I'd arrived. Guys! Get a sign on the OUTSIDE of the building. *** Update *** - No more cons! They have a sign! Bottom line: Great people, amazing selection of flavors, good selection of eCigs and equipment. They're my official go-to and the best shop in the city.

I first walked into FreE-Cigs without really knowing what I was looking for. Kevin was busy at the moment, but James, after finishing with another customer, gave his undivided attention to answer all of my questions and help me decide what I should start with. Everything I asked was met with an answer that left no doubt as to the knowledge James had about every product in the store and what would work best with how and when I would vape. I had seen videos of the many mods and I rebuildables available, and initially this is what I thought I'd walk out with. However, after great conversation with James, and some input from Kevin, I decided on the starter Evod with the Weisenheimer E-liquid and a pack of 1.8 ohm coils. I left completely satisfied with my purchase and experience at FreE-Cigs My experience was more than I could ask for. I have since been back quite a few times and the experience only grows. Kevin and James have no problems with answering any questions and radiate their passion in each customer interaction from beginners to the experienced.
