Been coming here 10+ years since they opened! Always a pleasure seeing the team and seeing how they've expanded the business and excellent selection of top notch cigars! I've bought and smoked everything from the House Don V cigars (both Natural and Maduro) to the highest end Rare Opus X, Padron and boutique brands. Always perfectly humidified, kept and ready to smoke! The size of the selection in the massive humidor space and dramatic range of cigars can be overwhelming, but there is always someone there to guide you and make recommendations. There is something there for everyone's size and taste profiles. Vic and his crew never disappoint! Thanks again!! read more

Royal Cigars is a great little locally owned store close to house. They have a great selection of cigars at a wide range of prices and their cigar room and humidor is large and unpretentious. The owner and his wife are friendly and very helpful, but do not over crowd you like some other places which I love. I really enjoy supporting local businesses and this place really deserves it. They have a rewards program and also everything you need to enjoy a cigar there or on your own. Highly recommend them if you like cigars. read more

Three store fronts of humidor protected cigars and a cigar lounge. Vic has kept me a happy customer for many years. read more

Excellent service and superb selection. This is probably the largest humidor in the burbs. Pricing is a bit on the high side, but I learned this was largely impacted by the massive IL tobacco tax. If you are in the mood for a special cigar or have a few extra $s to spend: give this local establishment your consideration and $. When in the area again, will be stopping in for sure! read more

I was going to order cigars online as I am getting more into cigars, but really wanted to get some real human recommendations and not some bot pushing me to some brand. Vick was very helpful and not pushy with his recommendations. His store is extremely impressive and you can tell he has a loyal clientele. I believe I was able to get a nice assortment of quality cigars to start off my collection. read more

Fantastic selection. I would put this shop against any shop in the metropolitan area in terms of a great variety of top of the line cigars. The owners are very friendly and helpful. A must stop for cigar lovers. read more

What a beautiful place, Vic the owner is a great guy. Very enthusiastic and curious about you, what you like, what you're looking for; very pleasant experience. The humidor is one of the best I've ever seen. He's got it all! From your typical sticks to the boutique. It was great, I walked in, he remembered me from a conversation we had on the phone (very cool). Handed me a box to put my cigars in. Lol I'm on a budget so I couldn't spend a fortune but he has it all. Has good deals going all time. Has a lot of the boutique, up and comers like southern draw and dunbarton. There are places closer to me I could go but I will take the extra diversion to stop at Norwood royal. It's a cigar Candy store! I will be working my way around that humidor for years to come. Vic thanks for making me feel welcomed. Hey had your cigar . Slow burn, great construction and very tasty. read more

Their humidor is huge and packed with an amazing selection of all brands. The owner, Vic, is a also extremely nice and helpful. I read about this place in Cigar Journal so I just had to check it out. I live in California but am from the area and Come to town once a month or so for work and to visit family. I travel quite a bit for work and always try and check out the local cigar shops in other cities and this humidor is the biggest one I've seen yet. Not only is it big but the selection is unreal and the layout makes it so easy to find what you're looking for. Most places I walk in and they look at me like I'm going to steal something but the sincere and amazing service was just off the charts. Made me want to buy more cigars! So glad I found this place. Will definitely come back in a few weeks to pick up some of his private label cigars which he's launching in a few days. Check it out. You won't be disappointed! read more

I have been going to Norwood Royal for a long time. They have a huge humidor and the best selection of cigars you're going to find anywhere. Vic's the owner and hes always there...no question hes a great guy...absolutely no complaints with Vic. Today was different. It wasn't Vic. It was Zabrina. I think Zabrina is new. As nice as Vic is, Zabrina is even nicer. She has a great personality...very willing to assist you if you need help. And I have to tell you...Zabrina is much better looking than Vic. I was skeptical when I asked her for a recommendation for some cigars for a friend. She was all over it... 15 minutes later I walked out with with everything I came for. Five different cigars I never smoked. I walked out with a Karen Berger, a Rose of Sharon and three other cigars named after chicks. Is it wrong? I don't know. What I do know is that the cigars were all good. Anyway...I don't want to dis Vic...but I have to tell you that Zabrina knows her shit. Thank you Zabrina. Oh yeah, thank you to Vic. read more

My new cigar HOME BASE! Vic and Dawn are great. Both very knowledgeable and they always give the best service. I never feel rushed when perusing the HUGE humidor. I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to cigars. They offer great suggestions based on your likes. They always have time to have conversations and share their knowledge. I never feel intimidated about asking a question. It's a small shop but they have enough seating inside and now that it's warm out, they have tables outside. There's a liquor store and pizza joint next door so you can grab a drink and a slice and enjoy your cigar outside! Can't say enough good things about my experience here. If you're on the NW side of the city, you have to stop in. You will not regret visiting Norwood Royal Cigars. read more
