Great bottle of Bergerac red wine (2012, domaine de l'Ancienne cure), it was no problem to sit down and order dinner a bit before 9pm on a weeknight, and the entree and main dish were great. Was a bit surprised because it looked more like a bar from outside, especially with the TV.
Got the Menu, had fish. My partner had a great Entrecote. Both cooked perfectly with lots of flavor and lots of nice flavorful stuff on the side. The Entree was really good! The cheese place could have been better (only two types, one old and hard and one soft) and the cake dessert thing was a bit too sweet. I thought the slices of butter in thin triangle shapes were actually cheese on the cheese plate. Took a bite and had to spit it out! Ew.
All in all a great restaurant. We went to the winery two days later looking for the wine and they only had 2014--was not as great. Made us even happier we ate there. Just hope I can hold the bottles we bought for two years. read more
