I can't recommend The Car Doctor enough!…read more My transfer case catastrophically failed, and I was incredibly lucky that my car broke down just two minutes away from their shop. It was around 10:00 PM, so I searched Google for the nearest repair shop and found The Car Doctor. Even though they were closing, one of the employees took the time to help me drop off my car. That alone showed me they genuinely care about their customers. The next morning, my car was fully diagnosed, and they clearly explained the issue and gave me multiple repair options without any pressure. Since replacing the transfer case is a major job, I was told it would likely take a few days. To my surprise, I received a text message the very next day around 5:00 PM saying my car was ready for pickup! I honestly couldn't believe how quickly they completed such a big repair. The price was very fair, but what really stood out was the outstanding customer service, professionalism, honesty, communication, and efficiency. Everyone at the shop treated me with respect and made a stressful situation so much easier. Thank you to the entire team at The Car Doctor for taking such great care of me and getting me back on the road so quickly. You've earned a customer for life. Highly recommended!

Their expertise has kept both my son's 2010 Toyota with over 100,000 miles and my 2015 Subaru in excellent working condition. One incident that truly impressed me was when I brought my car to River Road Auto Service with a torn seat belt. Instead of trying to make a profit by fixing it themselves, they advised me that the seat belt was still under warranty and recommended that I have the dealer replace it. This honest recommendation saved me a significant amount of money, as the replacement was covered by the warranty. This is the second time they have saved me money by not charging me for a repair. A few years ago my electronic mirror system on my Subaru which operates the safety Eyesight system came loose and wouldn't move. I didn't have a spare tire at the time, so I went to Tenleytown Automotive in Washington, DC, to see if they could help. As soon as I arrived, Alex came out, asked what was going on, and had my car checked. Unfortunately, they didn't have the specific tire size I needed. Instead of simply turning me away, they allowed me to leave my car there while I went to purchase the correct tire and assured me they would put it on when I returned. When I came back, they had the tire installed in about 15 minutes. Even more impressively, they were kind enough to allow my windshield replacement technician to come to their location and repair my windshield at the same time. Everything came together so smoothly, and within about 20 minutes, both my tire and windshield were taken care of. Phil also came out, introduced himself, and made sure everything was taken care of. I truly appreciate the entire team for finding a solution when they could have easily turned me away because they didn't have my tire size. Their willingness to help made a stressful situation so much easier. Everyone was professional, kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I'm extremely grateful for their understanding, their time, and their willingness to help me when I really needed it. I highly recommend Tenleytown Automotive. Five stars all around!
