Raised rent but they do not salt the roads, never see maintenance salting, the roads are icy, really unfortunate, going downhill quickly.

We worked with Debbie Leutheuser to sell our house several years back. If you're selling your house…read moreI would recommend someone else. She never even had fliers printed up before we had a buyer, meaning we could have probably done for sale by owner with the same results. She insisted we not have an open house. She didn't put one ounce of effort into negotiating on our behalf. Everything the buyers wanted, she just pressured us to concede to them no matter our misgivings. She pressured us into taking the offer without even telling us ahead of time that there was one... Asked us for a meeting on a Friday, sprung the news on us, and expected an answer by close of business. She waited to tell me the date of the inspection (she told me, didn't ask if the date worked for me, with only a 3 day notice) then screamed at me on the phone because I was too sick to leave the house and asked that they reschedule their inspection until I was feeling better. How awkward would it be to be sick in bed and have folks traipsing around your house for several hours? At the closing, she didn't even sit next to us at the table. Acted like we were strangers. Hopefully she was embarrassed for how she had conducted herself. I don't know if anyone else has had a terrible experience with this woman but I would never use her to list a house again. Buying from her is a different story, I feel like she has half the listings in town and since she gave the buyers such preferential treatment in our sale I'm expecting nothing less if I ever have to buy from her.

She's very easy to work with, and knowledgeable about homes and the quirks they may come with. She was on site during our home inspection to make sure she knew everything that was going on before we proceeded with the purchase. Evelyn and her team made the process so easy that I was questioning if I was doing something wrong, but she made sure everything was how it should be. I highly recommend NestEgg for any First time buyer.

After going back and forth, they said they could meet at 11 am on Saturday. Now, Saturday came, my husband was in the online meeting room, but nobody showed up. He waited for 30 minutes there and ended the online meeting. Now, after he left home, Evelyn called him and said she had forgotten the meeting, with no legitimate reason. And after wasting part of his weekend, she told him that they only offer the full management service and do not help just with finding a tenant. The purview of their service is fine; that is their choice, but this could certainly be communicated via email instead of going through this unprofessional and disrespectful experience. I was surprised to find many great reviews about this company, which was good for them, but I guess our need wasn't lucrative enough for them to care if you can drop a meeting they scheduled without giving a legitimate reason.

This company gets one star for three reasons: (1) I can't do any lower; (2) one saleswoman in the…read moreoffice (not the main one and not the owner's daughter); (3) the site manager. The main salesperson was quick to be rude and snippy. The owner is rude and condescending. Peters advertised a 4-6 month timeframe for a 1400 sf home. It took 10 months, and they offered no concessions. They provided no construction clean up - I found empty pop bottles, styrofoam cups, plastic lids, chunks of concrete that weigh over 20 pounds (one piece of concrete was so large, the worker couldn't lift it, so he broke it up and left it there for me to clean up), nails and other small construction debris all over my property. The site engineer came to my home and approved my landscaper's plans in person, but then the company provided a written letter that revoked the approval with no explanation. I had to personally contact the electrical contractor several times because the ethernet cables I paid to have installed were not completely wired. I think I paid $100 per line for installation ($600 total), but I had no end caps/plugs or face plates, just some blue wire with cut ends sticking out of the holes in the walls and then gathered in the basement near where the cable enters the home. I tried to wire the caps and plugs myself, but ethernet wires are more complicated than telephone wires. Less than one year after my home was built, the concrete driveway, sidewalks, and garage floor failed. It took four months for them to come to my home to assess it, and they never even looked inside the garage. Three months later (7 months after I started complaining), they blamed the concrete damage on the winter and refused to replace it. I had to have a structural engineer and an attorney intervene on my behalf in order for them to agree to replace the outdoor concrete and repair the garage floor - but how can you repair a concrete floor that has damage to more than 20% of the surface? I do love my house, my neighborhood is okay, and the HOA is non-existent (still run by Peters). I'm just glad I purchased and built before the housing market picked back up. Otherwise, I don't think building with this company is worth the hassles I've had to deal with. If you're thinking of using this company, drive through several of their neighborhoods and really look at the new homes their building. Try to talk to the newer home owners if you can. Construction is an expensive and stressful ordeal, and you should work with a company who hires polite, personable people with enough integrity and moral character to stand behind their work.

Their impact can be summed up in two key areas: their attentive and talented team members and their exceptional marketing efforts for my home. **The Team:** Mary Jo was my "Listing Agent," and she was nothing short of amazing! She guided me through the entire process, anticipating my questions and providing answers even before I asked. Her extensive experience shone through her proactive approach. At every step, she kept in touch with other team members, ensuring I was updated on their progress. Mary Jo's assistant, Kelly, sent me preliminary forms to review, ensuring everything was accurate and comprehensive. Since I had already moved 200 miles away, I truly appreciated her diligence in monitoring the property and coordinating access. The team even had a courier who checked on everything at the house. Michael, the Concierge, kept me informed with links to the "coming soon" listing on their website, Instagram, and Facebook. Different team members managed the open houses and coordinated with me beforehand to highlight key features of the property. Mary Jo guided me through the offers, while Kandice handled various aspects of the closing. Each team member was friendly, skilled, and made me feel important as a person. Their effective communication was evident, with everyone aware of each other's contributions. **Marketing:** The way this team presented and promoted my home was outstanding. I initially thought my house was ready to sell, but after following their recommendations (which I called a hit list), I saw a significant difference. Their suggestions helped modernize the appearance, emphasize key features, and effectively showcase the property. This resulted in 31 showings in just one week! Their marketing strategy included: - An 8-page dynamic brochure instead of a simple flyer - National exposure - Stunning drone photos - A 3-D virtual tour in the listing - Assistance with staging - Promotion through their website, Instagram, and Facebook Prior to listing with them, my house sat on the market with another agency for 6 months, garnering fewer than 10 showings and no offers. After switching to The Bauma Group, I was thrilled to sell my house over asking in less than a week. Their professional system and dedication truly impressed me. I wholeheartedly recommend The Bauma Group for anyone looking to sell their home!
