We took an awesome trip up the Snake River and Hells Canyon in a jet boat. The captain was a wealth of information, both history and geology, and had good humor too. We were on an excursion from the American Empress riverboat. This team is awesome! We had a lot of fun and they took us over 50 miles into Hells Canyon. They make your safety a priority and only took us as far as it was safe for us and for their boats. The river was flooding and there was a lot if debris, but we still got to explore a lot! read more

I cannot say enough about this company and their owner, Diana. I had booked an overnight boating excursion September 2014. Diana had bought this company this year and the papers were lost in transferring. I emailed to double check boat departure time and Diana called me right away stating they did not have any record of my reservation. I was in panic mode as I had airline tickets from AZ, hotel rooms and rental cars paid for in advance with no way to cancel or change. Diana was a miracle worker and by the next morning had it all set! We were able to take the jet boat tour, stay overnight at Garden Creek Ranch and jet boat back out!!!! The log cabin we stayed in at the ranch was outstanding as well as the meals prepared for us by the caretakers of the property. Wild deer pranced around our cabin along with wild turkeys. This was a wonderful birthday present for my husband and it would not have been possible without Diana and her help. Best time ever! read more

A highlight of our road trip! Had a wonderful time. The Captain was great and took the time to explain the history, geology, and wildlife of Hell's Canyon. Enjoyed seeing all the wildlife in the canyon. The lunch (lunch provided by River Quest) stop was so pleasurable. It was fun to see all the wild turkeys and deer with their fawns there. The employees were friendly and helpful. The speed boat ride was a blast, we went fast but always felt very safe under the Captain's driving. I highly recommend this trip and river company if you are in the Lewiston Clarkston area. The price may seem high at first, but well worth every penny. : ) read more
