The venue is absolutely beautiful and they have 3 different locations on the property to have the wedding and another for the reception. We picked out the location where my daughter had her heart set on and as the day approached, the weather was not looking good at all. The day of the wedding, it showed strong thunderstorms to begin about the time guests were set to arrive, so they had set everything up for the back up rain plan, which was still beautiful. About an hour before guests were to arrive, the radar was showing the rain would move just around where we were for the time of the ceremony. Knowing how much my daughter loved the original space, the owners Shelley and Shawn, got straight to work and moved everything to the space she had her heart set on. They went above and beyond throughout the entire process to help in any possible way you could imagine. Everyone had a wonderful time and couldn't stop gushing about how beautiful everything was! The venue is amazing and working with Shelley and Shawn made it that much more amazing! I can't say enough great things about the venue or Shelley and Shawn and will never be able to convey my appreciation for everything they did for us! They will forever be considered family in our eyes! If you are looking for a magical place for a wedding, please go check this place out! You won't regret it!

Every section seems to have its own personality. There's one area that always makes me think of what I imagine Jane Austen's library might have felt like -- cozy, beautiful, timeless and just a little magical. Then there's the children's section, complete with an incredible rolling library ladder that makes the whole space feel like something out of a storybook. And it goes far beyond books. They have such a great selection of unique gifts, beautifully curated items and little treasures that make it an easy place to find something for someone else -- or, very realistically, something you suddenly decide you need for yourself. They're also constantly finding creative ways to make reading fun and build a community around books. They offer book challenges, Books of the Month, events, writers' workshops and other programs that make Plenty feel like much more than a store. The only thing I would change would be 2 things: I would plant some bug repellent plants out by the waterfall and I would cut down the trees by the pews instead of building around them...made it a little hard to see the bride and groom but not impossible. I would give this place 2 thumbs up and highly recommend using this venue to anyone looking for a gorgeous spot to tie the knot! I had never heard of Drewia Hill but on the first visit, I was hooked. The owner Kris met with us and we hit it off immediately. It helps that her husband is in the same business that I'm in so we had some common interests and knew some of the same people. Kris is also a huge patriot and lover of America and with me being in the Navy it gave us even more in common. The Barn is beautiful and is set on several acres of land. There is plenty of room to have the ceremony inside if the weather turns bad but there is also a lovely area outside to have the ceremony and the barn makes for a beautiful reception area. Kris also did the catering for our wedding and the food was wonderful and reasonably priced. While the venue is beautiful, no amount of beauty can take the place of the great customer service we received. Kris became a friend and wasn't just the owner of a place we rented. She took control on our wedding day and allowed us to relax and enjoy our day.
