It was a herculean task to get him to communicate with the other professionals he referred me to. He delayed my treatment and wouldn't even say hello, whenever he had to interact with me (which were rare occasions). I assumed that he didn't realize the difficulty of the case, and knew he was probably not capable of doing the job. He could have just said so, instead of treating me in such an unethical, inhumane and humiliating fashion at the most vulnerable time in my life. His assistant probably noticed and attempted to make up for his rude and unprofessional behavior, and that was very appreciated (she is a sweetheart.) His hygienists are amazing and I am so thankful for them. Do us all a favor and retire, Dr. Margeas! You ARE NOT God's gift to dentistry, as you think you are. I went to God's gift to dentistry, and he is humble, kind, ethical, humane and probably one of the most competent REAL cosmetic dentists in the US ( Dr. Sam Sadati.) The only thing I am thankful for, is the referral you made to Dr. Neil Dunbar (an outstanding surgeon and human).

Jones Family is convenient to the east side/ample parking and reasonably priced. The doctor I saw was very knowledgeable, thorough, helpful and personable/kind... As were the assistants and hygienists I encountered. A couple added bonus points: the layout is more like individual rooms/better privacy for your appt + I never felt like staff were rushed, so it did not have that assembly-line feel like some dental offices do.

I needed a crown in a reasonable amount of time, as my dentist at the UI was scheduled out for months and I had had an emergency. I was able to get in and get the crown done in a reasonable timeframe. The crown took one visit, and it was perfect. It looks exactly like my natural teeth and fits perfectly along with its neighbors. Dr. Connors uses high tech 3D imaging (rather than biting a mold and making a cast) to create the plan for the crown, and then synthesizes it right there in the office while you watch. And then it's ready to install. Amazing! It is obvious that Dr. Connors is a master of her craft and I am extremely happy to have her as my dentist! (Also, the old house she has set up as offices is adorable!)

Today I want to talk about the staff, from the call to make an appointment to the second I walked out the door I felt like I was the only patient they have and they sure didn't want to lose me. I called to cancel/switch my appointment because my car wouldn't start and they set me up with another appointment 3 days later. 3 DAYS LATER not weeks or months 3 days!!! I walked in, checked in and waited all of 5 min before I was called in. I had my teeth cleaned and polished in no time and both dental tech and assistant were friendly, professional and made me feel comfortable instantly. Once I was done in there I was walked to the front desk and was not left alone until a receptionist came to help me book my next appointment. Also I'm retired military and they always make sure my insurance is approved prior to my visit which is soooo nice. CALLING ALL MILITARY RETIREES!!! The details...it's all about the details. In all of my life and my many dentist experiences, I have never been to such a nice dental office…read more Cookies, snacks, coffee, and water as soon as you walk in... and options for complimentary paraffin hand dips, hot towels, heated blankets all in a soothing atmosphere... WHAT?!? I can't wait until my next dentist visit! The only downside is that they aren't in any insurance networks, so you have to pay out of pocket up front.... but I can't seem to let myself take a star off for that!

Poor Quality Well about 2 years ago I had a front tooth…read morereplaced with a porcelain implant that cost me a total of 3,000 dollars from Smile Shoppe in Burlington Iowa. OK they finished the work I then moved out of state and 3 months later during a thanksgiving dinner eating mashed potatoes my freaking implant crown fell out and I almost swallowed it. I called Dr. Amy and basically she told me " well you could drive 2000 miles back and we could try it again" but of course I said no its OK and had a local dentist re Bond the tooth. When I asked my local dentist what was the cause he stated poor quality Bond and not enough set time and of course poor workmanship. So here we are 2 years later and I am eating a piece of fried chicken and my crown now chipped the bottom left corner!!!!! So after doing some research I found out that these things never or very rarely chip or if they do its usually after 10 years or so. I called Dr. Amy to ask some basic questions and to see if she would even offer help with getting a hold of the manufacturer of the implant to see why and maybe help me out anything considering the money I had paid them and all I got was a well not sure what you want there is nothing we are going to do to help you. So I called a local Dentist and he stated it would cost me around 1,000 dollars to replace the crown and would guarantee it for 10years really Dr. Amy I thought you really cared about your patients. Run away from this place, they have back massaging chairs, TVs you can watch and they are really friendly all while they destroy your teeth and pocket book stay away from these crooks and shame on you DR.Amy.....
