Burgers are smash burger-style which is not my favorite. There is a good array of toppings to choose from. It's a small place but they're very fast getting your order ready, even if you order from a computer. Perfectly good greasy spoon burger. I got the maple bacon burger which was 2 patties, sharp cheddar, bacon and maple aioli. The patties were overcooked and nothing really popped with flavor, but the bun was good and the whole was greater than the sum of its parts. Fries were really good too. Lack of shakes is a miss, although I understand them sticking to the pies they already have when folks can get shakes down the block. Would come here again for a burger, but probably would explore more of Lake Placid first.
