My one and ONLY complaint is the lack of air conditioning. Which I know is frustrating for the workers too, so I'm not necessarily upset at anyone specifically, but I'm very heat intolerant so I think I won't be able to come back here at all until well into fall. It gets so hot in Georgia that the fans everywhere don't really do anything but push the heat around.

They have a huge, huge selection of clothing for women as well as shoes and accessories. There is also a men's section which is not as vast as the ladies but offers, jeans, shirts, hats, and some shoes. You can find some unique items here ranging from a neon sequined happy birthday shirt to a nice summer dress or even some wranglers. Great selection, and all of the staff was very friendly and helpful.

It didn't help that she was staring at my biracial kids the whole time we was there. For gods sake their ages are 2 and 5 what could they do?

Stumbled upon this shop while driving back from the North Georgia mountains. The facade is very…read moreinviting so I pulled in to check it out. Was dismayed when I saw the Confederate battle flag hung with the sign, but that is fairly common in rural Georgia. Was further dismayed at all the gun-related signage both inside and outside the store. Never have I seen so many variations on the "will shoot first and ask questions later" theme. It gave the place a pretty weird atmosphere and didn't seem to go with all the pretty decorations and quaint items on the porch. In addition to selling local produce and canned jams and honey (largely from Hillside Orchards), you may not be surprised to learn they are an authorized glock dealer. The store also carries a fair bit of hardware supplies, two crockpots of great looking boiled peanuts (regular and cajun spiced), candies, ice cream, and more. If gun lovers and Confederate apologists didn't depress me so much, it would get more than 3 stars.

This is hands down the cutest shop of antiquities on the square. There are a variety of items such as home decor, candles, collectibles, clothing, furniture and more. Everything is beautifully staged and I am just floored at how generous they are to just have these things out and accessible to the public. There were some pieces that obviously date back to the Civil War that were on full display, (not behind glass as one might expect). Kinda scary, kinda cool! I actually had to tell my husband not to touch because that is the first thing people will want to do. These pieces were not for sale. The beautiful historic building that housed this store is quite a big deal. It is just really something to appreciate with its large detailed windows, brick walls, wooden floors and sweeping stairway. The stairway was actually added after the fact and leads to a second level where dinner shows are staged. This store is very cool and something everyone should see when visiting the town of Adairsville!

Didn't go for the afternoon tea, though I'd like to try it sometime. Got the chicken and rice with vegetables... yummy! It was a big serving. Make sure to try the peach tea - it's a lot more peach than tea, but it was delicious. If you are going during a busy time or with a large group, it might be helpful to call in and reserve a table. We went in at about 1:00 on a weekday, and, as the older gentlemen owner told us, it would be quite a wait since not only the normal cook had recently had surgery and would be out, and a group of ten ladies came in unannounced for lunch. He wasn't kidding - we waited about an hour for our food (we were a group of four). But I didn't hold it against him, it was only him and another old gentleman cooking and serving the food. Would definitely be willing to come back and try again!

I was so impressed with what I purchased that I returned the next day and purchased more jewelry. I also brought my cousin and he purchased jewelry as well. This store also has clothing and handmade purses. I love silver jewelry and after speaking with Pat (Sales Associate), I purchased copper pieces as well. This store has hundreds of pieces that are made of silver, copper, brass and other metals. The price range can fit any budget and they also have a layaway plan for those on a budget. I live in Cali and I will be purchasing more jewelry via their Internet site and by phone. If I lived there, they would get most of my money. Did I mention that the staff is simply amazing, knowledgeable and super friendly?
