After diagnosing the issue, Jerry explained that we'd need a new breaker panel and to add proper grounding, since one of the breakers was burned and could become a fire hazard--especially with our home being from the 1940s. I was honestly worried it would be really expensive, especially since this was our first quote--but the price was actually reasonable, so we decided to move forward. All were great, but I was hearing it would take months to replace because I would have to have the electrical panel moved. Fito came out to give me an estimate and was the first person who told me the panel wouldn't have to be removed because it would qualify for an exception. Leslie, who handled the office/administrative side, told me me she would try to get the work qualified as an emergency and would call PG&E every day until my application was approved. They had a sense of urgency that the other companies I spoke with did not. All was done as promised and the panel was replaced 1 week after getting the estimate. Fito also went above and beyond by getting my power up temporarily so that I could function in the house. He did not want me to be in the dark. I am a senior, living alone, so I very much appreciated his helping me in this way. Fito and Leslie were excellent and I will definitely work with Kingdom Electric on any future projects - big or small.
