Under those circumstances, clear and consistent communication was absolutely critical. Several aspects of our experience stood out. First and foremost, the quality of the work was exceptional. The finished product is beautiful, and the attention to detail is evident throughout the entire house. Second, during the planning phase, Prime Design provided a comprehensive list of decisions we needed to make--from flooring and countertops to every light fixture and faucet. This created a clear roadmap for the project, helped us select items that complemented one another, and documented every choice along the way. As a result, there were no surprises when the project was completed. Finally, because we were still living out of state during much of the construction, regular communication was essential. We received frequent progress updates and photos, which allowed us to monitor the work, confirm that everything met our expectations, and feel confident that the project was moving in the right direction. I do NOT recommend hiring Brian. He scammed us!

The floor job was pretty complex. The previous owners had removed a wall, thrown down some plywood and covered it in carpet. The floor on either side of the plywood was covered in two slightly different ypes of wood and was splattered in paint. Now it looks great! The price was as quoted, and there was communication everyday. As far as COVID protocols, Craig did as I asked while in my home. Will definitely use Wilcox Carpentry again.

Eric always showed up on time and exceeded expectations in his delivery. He was a very good communicator throughout the project. The final product is outstanding and looks like it was always there. We get so many compliments. I would not hesitate to hire or recommend Eric Gallagher. Note: I will be leaving a similar review under Kevin Day Home Improvements. It's the reason I insistently seek out local and independent businesses for my various tasks and projects. Often times, they provide higher quality results for more than fair prices. Naturally, all of the aforementioned traits are applicable to NH Handyman & Inspection Services. The job was simple enough. All I needed was a quick patch up job for the broken paint on my shower ceiling. So, I sent out inquiries to several businesses that served the southern NH area. Funny thing is...ya know how many replied back with an actual quote? One. Just one. The same one I ended up hiring for the repair, of course. So many other businesses wanna chat with you on the phone before actually quoting either a flat rate or, at the very least, an estimate. Almost like they're trying to sell you something. One other business eventually gave me a rate, but it was way too high for my taste. Now, NH Handyman charges a flat rate between $225 and $450; though, it's unclear if that applies to every job or if that's just his hourly rate. In any case, he was clearly the most affordable choice for me. Besides, I'd rather give my money to my home state whenever possible. Here's another convenience this Handyman provides: he'll send you a link to book an appointment online. There's also one available via his website. Convenient AND inexpensive. That's what's up! I find it hard to believe no one ever took the time to review this business before me. Ah, well. At least I get the honor of being dubbed the "First to Review" badge. Seriously though, I couldn't recommend a better alternative if I tried. Give this one a try. Just send him photos of what you want done and he'll usually send you an accurate quote within minutes. And with that, I'm giving NH Handyman & Inspection Services 5 shower ceilings spackled in paint perfection out of 5.
