From the start, he was an excellent listener who truly understood our needs and preferences. One particular listing raised red flags for us, and Cody worked with us to craft a smart strategy to investigate a suspected plumbing issue the seller hadn't disclosed. Sure enough, our concerns were confirmed--his insight and strategic thinking saved us from a potential headache. Throughout the process, Cody made everything easier with his professionalism, sharp instincts, and local knowledge. As out-of-state buyers, we were especially grateful for his network of trusted service partners. Thanks to his referral, we found a great home and auto insurance policy that gave us peace of mind. If you're buying or selling in the Dubuque area, Cody is the real deal. We're so glad we had him on our side!

The pond is home to a large flock of Canadian Geese and quite often in the spring, little goslings will be poking around the place looking for food. I would give it a perfect rating, except the complex owner will not invest in much needed repairs, replacements or upgrades. That is the other great aspect with the manager. She finds a way to work miracles around that place and treats everyone as her own family. It is the most inviting atmosphere in any apartment complex I have found in or around Dubuque. Penn Place is the perfect first place to start in Dubuque. Two things the complex desperately needs is playground equipment and some picnic tables. Sade was the third and final realtor that I worked with in my home-buying journey. I am not sure…read morewhy, but the previous two realtors did not seem to want to sell me a home. Upon initially working with them, they asked me for my top budget and email address for their program that would auto-generate and send me random listings (not even remotely within the area I wanted to live). They told me to let them know if I ever saw anything I liked. I sent a list of a few houses that caught my eye and I'm not kidding you that one of them told me they wouldn't show me the house that I actually ended up purchasing because it was too far of a drive for them (45 minutes). Sade's initial phone call (she also does text if you don't prefer talking on the phone) - she asked me what I was looking for in a home, how many bedrooms I needed, and what my specific needs were for the home, etc. She then traveled what felt like the countryside with me on a time crunch of ONE DAY and looked at 8 properties. The home I purchased had EVERYTHING I could have ever dreamed of and I still wake up, 2 weeks later, feeling like I have the perfect home for me. She worked to get me under budget and every. single. thing. on my wishlist. Sade was easy to work with, had a fun sense of humor, took care of ALL the little things, and was open to any questions that I had. She gave great advice and recommendations along the way and went far out of her way to make sure I got exactly what I wanted within my budget. She was extremely knowledgable, honest, and professional - I would recommend her to EVERYONE and even asked her for a stack of business cards at closing so I could have them on hand. Sade once again went out of her way and went leaps and bounds beyond the other realtors I was going to work with. She made the experience personal and enjoyable from start to finish. Although I am just getting settled, I hope she will be the realtor to sell my house and help me look for my next later!
