Forget those little Honey Boo Boo kids that reckon they're triple threats because they can, I don't know, sing and dance and wear tutus or whatever it is they do at those little pageants of theirs, I've found something about the same size that's way better and doesn't embarrass anyone.
Ritual is everything a suburban coffee shop could, would and should be. It's tiny but that just makes you want to get inside it more. Okay so that sound all kinds of wrong, but you should see the queue of people waiting outside it every time I drive past. And lord knows the sad, dated little smear of shops along the Northbridge high street needed a transfusion of cool.
The coffee is bang on, strong and smoky and just bitter enough and served in cool little geometric cups, and the almond croissants -Â dear god, the almond croissants -Â are moist and dense and filled with chocolate and what I think is probably marzipan but could be something different and equally delicious. Oh and the muffins are all time as well.
