Tasty chicken & hard rice with no flavor even with 1 packet of soy sauce and 1 packet of yum yum. Extra soy sauce packet? $1.50! Tito's Lemon Drop ($12). $65 until a 20% gratuity & $2 credit card fee were added. Total - $85 and we had to hunt down the unfriendly server. The deejay was equally unimpressive. Every song had a long intro and he played the extended version. He was all over the place. "You Dropped a Bomb on Me" followed by "Gangsta Party" and "Mutt." Can we at least stay in the same decade?! Highlights - diversity and pure unadulterated joy! Gay, mostly straight, all sizes, mid-20's to over 50, bridesmaids, gym shoes and after five. People did not care what they wore or if they could dance. They were there for a good time and a good time was had! There's no pressure. It's a great place to come as you are & learn the latest line dance. King George was in heavy rotation. By 10pm the dance floor was packed! The place is kind of a dump, the smell of smoke is unbearable (the low ceilings don't help), and the girls were staring at me like "What are you doing here?!?" since I was like the only white person... needless to say I never thought I would go back. But I did.... and somehow the second time wasn't as bad. Young LA (the rapper) was there, and i love his song "Ain't I", so that was pretty cool.
