But on Monday AM I learned that an earlier doctor's appointment on Tuesday was being delayed by 1.5 hours. I called Mr. Appliance to request a later time on Tuesday and again a REAL PERSON answered the phone and gave me a later time slot. Tanner came and was polite and efficient and repaired the dryer. Overall I was pleased but in this day of AI and answering machines I really appreciated being able to directly communicate with REAL PEOPLE rather than answering machines.

Got the service scheduled for three days out, and received an immediate confirmation, as well as a day-before confirmation that included a photo of the technician. Received a text from the technician when he was on his way. Upon his inspection of the dryer, he determined he would need to order a new part, but said he would be able to get back to install it by the end of the day. Turned out even better than that--he was back in a couple of hours, telling me he decided it would be quicker to swing back to my place then instead of after his next stop, as he'd planned. After the new part was in, everything was fine. The repair wasn't cheap--replacing a circuit board won't be in any circumstances--but the repair went smoothly and the dryer is now working fine.

He recommended that I have an electrician resolve the problem. I brought in an electrician that verified that I did indeed have 240 volts at the wall socket. This placed the problem in the drier. The electrician was a needless expense. I contacted Master Tech and talked with John the manager about my dissatisfaction with their service. He promised he would call me back in 3 days. It's been 3 weeks and no call. I have used Master Tech for many years and recommended them many times. I've been burned by them once...moving on

Amazing appliance repair company!…read more They do exactly what they promise. We had a problem with our newly out of warranty Whirlpool stoce: the door hinge was stuck. They gave us a date and 2 hour window for their repair guy to come by, and he called us when he was 30 minutes away. The part needed to be ordered so he gave us the exact amount to get it installed. We only paid for his time and 2 weeks later the stove was fixed. Prompt, accurate and honest, does it get any better?

It was fine because he said he that he would reach out to someone the could provide the service that was needed (and this didn't materialized either because I never heard from this so-called different repairman.) I can't fault "Americare Appliance Reair" for that (I don't think?) What I can fault is him for allowing me to pay him to simply reverse my dryer door (while he was already at my place.) A task that seemed quite simple to do, it although also seemed to stumped is personal abilities. After awhile he said that he needed to get a different bracket from his shop and that he would be by my place early in the morning to finish the job. He answered one phone call from me in the morning but never showed up to finish reversing the door (while he left all of the parts scattered about.) He would not answer or returned any more calls (not even before I submitted the review.) I sent several (friendly) courteous messages (during this time) but to no avail. I waited numerous weeks before submitting my review of this small business owner (to give him the "benefit of the doubt" to make himself whole.) I finally realized the he didn't know what he was doing when I googled my dryer's model number (and watched the video on YouTube. Everything that he needed to do for the job was actually provided on the dryer. He didn't need to get a different bracket at all. The repairman (Nathan) was timely, thorough and straightforward. Based upon my own research he confirmed my diagnosis. I was charged for the service call as expected. While I need to replace as the repair cost was nearly the cost of a new dishwasher, this is not a service they provide. I appreciated the diagnosis as presented.

Two visits with 20 minutes total (15min the first time, 6 minutes the second time) equaled 286 dollars labor. I believe that's approx 600 dollars an hour. I called twice to discuss this.
