Great staff, nice pharmacy. Been getting scripts here since I was in highschool. While the goods here are pricy as with any retail pharmacy, I've only ever had good experiences with the staff, and timing with my medications and such. Overall, in my opinion, it's a nice store and I'm very happy with the service. I'm a pharmacy technician myself and work at a Walgreens, waiting for prescriptions, insurance issues, etc, are all parts of the job that techs and pharmacists have little to no control over. We can always try our best to resolve an issue, but there are so many other companies and government regulations we have to implement and keep track of, the job is a lot more complicated than grabbing a vial off the shelf and sticking a label on it. I wish more people understood that.
Especially since covid, pharmacies are understaffed and overworked and many people are new hires, stressed, and dealing with so much more than is visible to the common person. And, for pete's sake, I wish doctors would stop telling patients that their med will be ready in _____ time, most doctors do not know how pharmacies work! We do not always have a medication in stock or sometimes insurance will not cover a certain med, and doctors send in prescriptions that need to be corrected all of the time, and sometimes they send it to the wrong pharmacy or don't send it at all (doctors are only human, just like we are!) and if a tech or pharamcist makes a small mistake, be kind! We are only human, and for the pay And certification required, being a tech is a demanding and often thankless Job. The training never ends, techs are learning new things everyday even after years because of the constantly evolving nature of the job.
if you have any issues with things like websites, emails, signage, contact CORPORATE or the GM of a store, techs and regular employees have NO CONTROL over these things.
anyways, nice store, be patient, be kind, techs and pharmacists deal with a lot more than you realize, its a very stressful job, now, I don't condone rude behavior, but trust me, they're probably trying much harder than you realize. Be thankful somebody is getting up and doing the s***** job of getting your meds filled, it can be rewarding but definitely is hard work! read more
