I am a very good customer at the Lockport Noco Express. I go there for gas, snacks, and sometimes…read morebeer. I am 23 years old with a valid New York State ID, and when I go in there two specific employees that work at the Lockport store treat me as if I'm a criminal. It is borderline harassment. I am not the only one this happens to, as I have stories from my 25 year old boyfriend who was buying beer and the cashier wanted to ID all the people who were in line behind him, people who are complete strangers to us. It is very embarrassing and very uncomfortable. When we go in there, this specific cashier looks out the window to check the cars to make sure no one is in there, and if he sees anyone, he accuses us of being with them- as if we are trying to break the law or give a minor alcohol. Since when did Noco Express employees become police officers? Why am I made to feel like I am breaking the law when I have a valid license and am 23 years old? Since when is it ok to be interrogated by gas station employees?
