Since Rockwood tore down the old Speedway and built the building that Rite Aid is now in, it's gotten even worse. This place has been HORRIBLE for AT LEAST the past 10 years. Here's just a FEW bad experiences: -A few years ago they refused to even take my methadone script that I'd received (and had been receiving for years) from my PCP. I'd been on the medication for 2-3 years at the time and my doctor is in Monroe. For whatever reason, I went to Rite Aid to fill it (which I rarely do) and they wouldn't even take the script. I honestly can't remember the reason why, but, I do remember it was some BS. I remember the lady saying to me, "this is a very serious and highly controlled narcotic". Yeah, no kidding lady. What's your point? -There have been SEVERAL times that I tried to get my Neurontin scripts filled there and upon going to pick it up, they'd take forever to get it for me because of varying excuses. Either they couldn't find it, they had no record of it, they didn't have it in their system, whatever. A lot of headaches. -The final straw, for me, was when I went in there earlier this week to buy 2 singles with 8 quarters. Something I've done there dozens of times. Matter of fact, before this week, I'd just done it the week before. The guy claimed to me that he couldn't because, "you have to buy something to me to open the drawer". I told him what I said here, that I'd just bought a couple singles w/ quarters a week ago. He repeated what he said the first time. As I walked out, I said to him, "I'm not going to give you a hard time, but, I just want you to know that I know you're lying because I've done this a bunch of times here. I don't know WHY you're lying, but, I know you are". After this, I wouldn't even use their parking lot to park in.

I am asking for a script and asking questions about the script, and asked her to print the instructions for the medication (please,) and she would not do it nor did I get the medication. This has been going on for years, and enough is enough. If they don't get their act together, they will lose a lot of business, if they haven't already. And the corporate people, do you really read these reviews? The money will run dry if you don't take action based on what you are reading. I needed to pick up a medication for my 6 year old daughter he did it quickly, with a smile on his face and was very informative about the medication and all it required. He made sure my kids who were with me were happy, included and even made sure he gave each one of them a stick and let me tell you it made their day! I recently switched over from Walgreen to have my prescriptions sent here and I have had nothing but amazing expperiences thus far. Whatever you all are doing here is magic and as a fellow person working in the healthcare industry places like this are what we strive for in patient care and patient experience. They proactively engage in conversation and want to interact with customers beyond the bare minimum of their job requirements. I personally respect those who set out to have a good day instead of hate the world because they have to speak to someone. This place is clean, organized, and efficient. Lots of traffic to the register but never a long wait to get there. A few times now I have had extra care bucks or coupons that I thought I sent to my card but didn't. My bad and they could've just moved me along but they didn't - they manually input the discounts for me just to help me out! Every CVS looks the same on the outside, inside, and on the bank account... but this store makes a great deal of them just average.
