Since Rockwood tore down the old Speedway and built the building that Rite Aid is now in, it's gotten even worse. This place has been HORRIBLE for AT LEAST the past 10 years. Here's just a FEW bad experiences: -A few years ago they refused to even take my methadone script that I'd received (and had been receiving for years) from my PCP. I'd been on the medication for 2-3 years at the time and my doctor is in Monroe. For whatever reason, I went to Rite Aid to fill it (which I rarely do) and they wouldn't even take the script. I honestly can't remember the reason why, but, I do remember it was some BS. I remember the lady saying to me, "this is a very serious and highly controlled narcotic". Yeah, no kidding lady. What's your point? -There have been SEVERAL times that I tried to get my Neurontin scripts filled there and upon going to pick it up, they'd take forever to get it for me because of varying excuses. Either they couldn't find it, they had no record of it, they didn't have it in their system, whatever. A lot of headaches. -The final straw, for me, was when I went in there earlier this week to buy 2 singles with 8 quarters. Something I've done there dozens of times. Matter of fact, before this week, I'd just done it the week before. The guy claimed to me that he couldn't because, "you have to buy something to me to open the drawer". I told him what I said here, that I'd just bought a couple singles w/ quarters a week ago. He repeated what he said the first time. As I walked out, I said to him, "I'm not going to give you a hard time, but, I just want you to know that I know you're lying because I've done this a bunch of times here. I don't know WHY you're lying, but, I know you are". After this, I wouldn't even use their parking lot to park in.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are from, pharmacists have the legal right to refuse any prescription for any reason. My husband drinks a beer that they did not carry and have been ordering it for me since I asked if they would years ago. The pharmacy is great. I have NEVER received a prescription without a script so I'm not sure what the other reviewer was talking about. Also the pharmacy staff has never tried to be my doctor or said they won't fill a script. I enjoy this place and I do think it's a lot better than the extremely over priced Rite Aid.

They are patient when looking things up, and patient when explaining information about the prescriptions. Whenever I start a new prescription, I get a follow up phone call asking me how I am doing on the new med. Considering that they are so busy, I think they handle their work and clients very professionally in the store, at the drive-through, or on the phone. I suggest complaining customers exercise patience when waiting during the busier times of the day. Accuracy takes time and concentration. All healthcare professionals these days are dealing with complex job demands, frequent industry changes, plus corporate pressures. I respect and am grateful for their contributions to my healthcare.

I am so frustrated with this pharmacy. It's not so much as the people who do the customer service,…read moreit seems the steps they have to go through to make sure you get the right order is great-they are thorough. It's the pharmacist. I have to tug with her every time lately to get answers from her. If I question the script she tells me to call the doctor, which makes no sense being the correction of the script has to be communicated between the doctor and pharmacist, NOT the patient and the pharmacist. This last episode did it for me! I am asking for a script and asking questions about the script, and asked her to print the instructions for the medication (please,) and she would not do it nor did I get the medication. This has been going on for years, and enough is enough. If they don't get their act together, they will lose a lot of business, if they haven't already. And the corporate people, do you really read these reviews? The money will run dry if you don't take action based on what you are reading. It is not always about money; it is about client satisfaction.

I needed to pick up a medication for my 6 year old daughter he did it quickly, with a smile on his face and was very informative about the medication and all it required. He made sure my kids who were with me were happy, included and even made sure he gave each one of them a stick and let me tell you it made their day! I recently switched over from Walgreen to have my prescriptions sent here and I have had nothing but amazing expperiences thus far. Whatever you all are doing here is magic and as a fellow person working in the healthcare industry places like this are what we strive for in patient care and patient experience. A huge Kudos again to the whole team but most of all to Akaaljot for making a stressful day just a little better.

Lots of traffic to the register but never a long wait to get there. A few times now I have had extra care bucks or coupons that I thought I sent to my card but didn't.
