Line Moves very slow and there's always homeless people walking in and out. Security never pays attention to whats going on as well.

Toothpaste is s apparently the ONLY item you can't self checkout. No reason why, fix your system or don't use it.

Nice market/deli. In…read morethis area, there are several similar delis/markets/juice bars - they mostly offer the same stock (snack/drink) and deli/juice selections. The prices are about the same. A few of these in the area are opposite or very close to the Montefiore Hospital and the many offices of Montefiore in the area. During busy times, these places can get crowded and annoying with Montefiore staff. The one thing that separates Tita's over the rest their competitors that I've been to have been largely the staff and the quality of some of their makings. I've had breakfast sandwiches from several, and Tita's has always been consistent and more importantly, better. While some staff have been friendly in other locations, some haven't been. Thus far Tita's has been the friendliest. To me, Tita's stands out from the rest of their like-competition and it's those things that make a difference. Inside is small, but clean and stocked well. There is a very good beverage selection and snack/candy selection. The deli offerings are clean, look fresh, and there are plenty of options. I'm not one of those "juicers", but there is plenty of choices for that as well as a pretty varied menu for it. Again, staff have been friendly. So of all the places in the area that offer what they offer, Tita's is my personal favorite and one that will continue to get my business for just being better than the competition for the most important of things.

A full deli and grill menu included hot dishes. Along with an assortment of salads & desserts to choose from. Located across the street from Montefiore Medical Campus. They provide a variety (including healthy options) for employees, patients, and visitors to choose from besides the typical fast food.

While I enjoy drugstore/pharmacy random item shopping each week, I hate the perpetual line that exists in this place. No self-checkout and almost always a shortage of cashiers for the number of registers. You might think, "24 hours? Go at 2 a.m. to avoid the line, knuckle head!" Nope. It really doesn't matter that you go in the middle of the night, there will be a line snaking its way to the back, going towards the pharmacy. Pharmacy techs are helpful, line is outrageous (in case I didn't mention that) and in the past couple of years, the store's organization has drastically improved. Now they also make sure that their shelves are stocked, whereas a while ago, it was bare bones. Now, if we could just work on changing the average wait time from 25 to 5 minutes, I might be more inclined to actually buy the things I pick up here instead of dropping them on other shelves and bitching on my way to the train. Pro- tip: Go with a friend (and a shopping list). One of you wait in the line that will already be waiting for you when you enter the store, and the other go fetch the items. Then you'll only have to wait...12 minutes.
