Rajiv took advantage of our father during a time when he was under significant distress and highly vulnerable. His conduct was manipulative and, in our view, demonstrates serious ethical concerns regarding his treatment of elderly clients. During what was supposed to be a consultation, Rajiv persuaded our father to write a check for $20,000 without providing a receipt or clear explanation of services. He also had our father sign a fee agreement -- which we did not receive a copy of until nearly a month later, and only after we terminated his services. When we finally obtained the documents, they were filled with errors and appeared unprofessional.
