She set up a rug and chaise longe and had her friend show up and one left a beat up van with flat tire.. I had to call the cops twice. Savmart did NOTHING. The other day (7/7) there were 2 more homeless with carts. I spoke to one and he said the lady told the group of homeless by library in Manteca to come to Ripon. I've seen them under the bridge by Main Street and recycle center and 1 passed out along Colony road last week. Our police use to be better about taking them to shelters, but now they"re coming out everywhere and Police are not doing anything!

When you first walk in there are several packaging accessories on the wall to the right. If you need a last minute card for a special occasion, they have a card rack against the wall. There is a counter on the back wall with room for customers to finish packaging and addressing their shipments. There are three points of sale at the front counter and it is typically staffed with 1-2 employees. I have never had to wait more than a couple minutes. Each visit, I have found the different staff members to be friendly and helpful. During transactions they always ask if I need any stamps. I have never run into any customer service issues.

My rent check was mailed to this office for my landlord and it showed delivered in 2 days but then my landlord told me it wasn't in his box. I panicked because it was a cashiers check and I wasn't gonna get that back for 90 days minimum if lost. Luckily I told Amy it showed delivered and it wasn't and she went to the back real quick and came back with the envelope! I was so grateful. She said some of the helpers had misplaced it into another PO Box. She was nice enough to put it in the right one for us after I called my landlord. Earlier this year, a young man jumped to his death from the Nestlé water tower in Ripon. But aside from that tragedy, the $2 million tank has a lot to brag about, including being the state's largest above-ground water tank. It is 175 feet and managed to triple the City's water capacity. Ripon's need to close two underground water tanks and the expected demand increase for water users in the future both contributed to the construction. It's a fun landmark, clearly visible to travelers driving on the 99. The almond trees need not worry - Ripon has water for all! And plenty of water pressure (created by elevated water tanks!) This isn't the only water tower in Ripon (hence, the #1 in the name). Note: There is a Sonic Burger place located off the Jack Tone exit. Even though it's sign was removed from the billboard of available dining options directed to the freeway, it's still there. I'm not a Sonic fan, but my husband seems to be, and he gave me this tidbit of info. :)

There is a specific children's area in the corner which is spaced nicely from the areas adults would sit down to read. The library also offers computers with internet access and the ability to print. They also have a small section of movies to rent. If you need a quiet area they have two study rooms equipped with tables large for six persons. The center of the library also has an information area that an employee staffs if you have any questions. There are a lot of negative reviews centered around the front counter employees. Most of these reviews are dated. My dealings with employees have been pleasant. If you don't feel like conversing with the employees, they do offer a self check out machine. If you are looking for reading material, you are sure to find something here.

When I asked to use the printer she began to question me: "What are you printing? Do you have a library card? Well we turned off the computers 15 minutes ago and we close in 4 minutes." I then said "oh I thought you closed at 6 PM". She then responded with, "No we close at 5 PM." Either way, I still had 20 minutes to print, pay, and leave with my document. I just really wish she could have helped me anyway and turned on a computer for me.
