If you've got young kids who are interested in soccer, I can't recommend this place enough! The…read morestaff is not only knowledgable about soccer, but about early childhood education. The coaches know just how to get each child involved and feeling confident and successful. My daughter who is (not quite) 2 takes a class where each child is partnered with an adult. My son, age 3 (almost 4) has taken for about a year in a class where parents watch from across a wall. And not just any wall, I might add. I totally appreciate that it's a clear half wall, so my littlest one can watch her big brother and has learned so much, and the top half is netting to keep the balls safely on the field but let parents talk with their kids. I know mine needed some encouragement in the beginning. The field itself is artificial turn and indoors. The facility has adequate heating, but gets very hot in the summer with a/c, so there are large garage doors that can open and let in a breeze. Temperature aside, I appreciate that it's indoors because they can never get rained out. And in fact in the winter, they seem to never get snowed out either! Class begins with a personalized roll-call, a little chat with the coach, and a warm-up freeze game. They do organized stretching and learn gross motor coordination and balance. Next, the kiddos run through an agility drill, get a water break (they get so excited for this!!), do an aerobic drill, (more water!!) and finish up with a game of sharks and minnows. My son isn't always comfortable doing activities in group sessions without his parents, but the coaches really knew how to make him comfortable. Now he's so excited for soccer every week and participates happily and confidently!

This past weekend I was again thrilled to be up in Dayton with my daughter, son-in-law and 2…read moregrandchildren. They live in Fairborn near Wright Patterson Air Force Base. My almost 4 year old grandson really enjoys riding his scooter and his balance bike (with no pedals) all through the neighborhood. We went out several times to do this and his favorite destination was to go to Wedgewood Park. It's a small community park that we can access at the end of a dead end street. Cars can also drive to it. There is a decent size parking lot and a jungle jim with 3 different size slides, tennis courts, soccer field and a swing set with both baby and kid size swings. Until recently the swing set and jungle jim were closed off due to covid-19. The park is seperated from the nearby homes by a cluster of trees. It's location makes it a perfect local play area for the neighborhood! Until next time be kind to each other and stay healthy. @yelpcincy @wedgewoodpark @Fairbornohio #familyfun #communitypark

This is my experience in Little Toes; I think the experience for older kids is pretty different. Our first session was on Sunday mornings alternating 9 am and 10 am. There were only about 7 kids playing at once, so it wasn't too bad when a few of them weren't listening, etc. We liked that our son was playing with new kids and learning team work, and enjoyed it enough to sign up a second time. This session, we did Saturday mornings at 9 am and they had way too many kids. I'd estimate there were at least 15 kids (maybe more) when everyone was there and it was just way too many. While everyone seems very nice, some of the coaches just aren't as loud and can't wrangle the kids as well. Coach Ben had a great rapport with the kids and seemed to get them into the activity better. One thing that is frustrating with this age group is the amount of parents who go on the field and don't let the Happy Feet coaches do their job. They follow their kids around or just stand on the wall, get in the way to take photos from the field, and so on. We get an email each week from Happy Feet asking the parents to stay off the field unless their kid really needs them, but it is ignored by some. I counted seven parents on the field today and it becomes a safety issue at that point with everyone going in different directions. Now that our son is older, I think we'll try some other programs, but we were glad to have had the experience and glad Happy Feet gets started with such young toddlers.

A fabulous program that we highly recommend. Coach Wiggy creates a fun, safe atmosphere and teaches…read morethe kids more about soccer than any other program we've tried. Highly recommend!
