Jacinto and Luis, I can truly say that you have what it takes... this place is simply spectacular! I am so glad we decided to stay until opening hours and went back to Santiago after we ate.... this is what Galicia is all about... when people say this is the capital of Spanish Gastronomy, this place is part of why! They were almost closed as we walked in just one minute after opening time... in Spain, this could have been comsidered breakfast. but for us, we had the maitre D and the Chef all to ourselves... so, let the frast begin... I told Jacinto that I wanted to eat good cigalas... well, good was an understatement... they were slectacular....awesome!! We first had a bottle of Ribeiro white wine that was delicious... we were also greeted by anchovies with olive oil that were delicious with the Gallego bread... we also had fresh home made chips that Jacinto had prepared for us to acompany our food... my wife had lubina that was also very tasty.... we were then delighted by the traditional crepes that were so good we needed to have more... Jacinto was going crazy.... he even invited a whole bunch of orujo.. (digestie alcohol) and wanted me to have more and more...
all in all, I am so glad to have been here and we will definitely come back...
One downside... it is VERY difficult to find a parking spot nearby... so, uber or taxi....
