I bought two pieces that would have cost hundreds more elsewhere. When I told the owner I was looking for a Southwest table he said "just text me the pictures of what you want & I will send it to my Vendor in Mexico. He can make it to order at a much better price than anywhere else in NM" When I went there to load my heavy pieces the owners family member came out to help me. Totally not required by them, just great people. Some prices were high, but there are many things there consignment so owner has no control over them. This is a must stop.

The Family Indoor Flea Market offers booth after booth of delightful finds, and yeah, a lot of this stuff might be sitting in your grandparent's cabin in the mountains, but there's plenty of retro goodness tucked alongside at prices that compare or often beat what you'll find at your local Goodwill. I didn't buy anything here, but I spent about a half hour admiring the goods and I can think of four or five items I'm itching to pull my consumer trigger finger on. Albuquerque is awash in flea markets, which makes a ton of sense because, hey, this entire state is about two decades behind the times and so there's plenty of Rubik's Cubes to go around. There's a ton to find, here: furniture (not couches, but tables and chairs galore), decorations, lamps, comics and kids items, you name it. And again, I was often astonished at the cost. Since she couldn't find any more in Las Cruces, when we visited our son in Rio Rancho we went hunting for the glass jars and other things. Dollar Tree stores has become the place to get party and holiday decorations. They also have a great selection of celebratory balloons. From time to time, we find unique food items from around the world that are better quality. We bought here Rosolini Hazelnut Cream with Cocoa from the country of Turkey for $1.50 each.

Walked out following them and started yelling at the male shoplifter who was yelling at him bring your ass over here and I will beat your ass. The employee (Frank) talking shit and trying to be a bad ass was about the get his ass kicked or worse this guy was reaching for something in his car and telling Frank come on Frank was placing himself and others in danger for what items that probably cost 30-40 bucks. The shoplifter had removed his plate implying that he had done this before and was not afraid and find ass Frank trying to prove what that he would get hurt or get killed for this. As the police say don't place yourself in danger. The part that got me when asked about it Frank was a total asshole and a smart ass. Some people are just dumb as hell

Yeah Walmart and other retail stores offer better quality items but at a steep mark up. If your on a budget you can save some cash getting some neat decorations at the dollar store some of which will last awhile to use the following years. The dollar store is definitely an underrated place. They offer a wild range of practical items that sometimes are cheaper to get than Walmart. It's convenient especially when in a pinch. When I got closer, I was surprised to find the quality was just as good as the Spirit store next door but for just $1 each. After I grabbed some decorations for the house, I headed to the candle aisle. I grabbed two candles: pumpkin pie and pecan praline. They were just about 8-10 oz each but still a great deal for $1 each! I approached the first register where the register light was on and there was a cashier at the register. She quickly shut off her light, told me she was closed, and walked off. I then walked over to the only other open register where a red headed gentleman was finishing checking out another customer. Once he was done, he told me he would be back. I then watched as he frisked an employee going on break and then came back to check me out. It was very awkward. I might check out another location next time.

She offered to put my stuff in a random basket she had, i said "thank you you're the best" she then mumbled "better than having someone steal stuff" under her breath and then try's to change the subject to a dumb tv show after i said "i wasn't going to steal anything i was putting my stuff down because my hands were cold".
