The second smaller screen is very intimate and is enjoyable when it is quite empty but I find it quite annoying if it is full up and there are people chatting or messing around. This is my one complaint about this cinema, I have seen quite a bit of silly behaviour from groups of teenagers and I know that this can be difficult for staff to deal with. I do much prefer this cinema to the big cineworld in Ashford for atmosphere and price, the only reason we would go to ashford is if the film we wnted to see wasn't on in Folkestone.

The seats in the larger theatre are a little small and uncomfortable but the ones in the right hand theatre have been replaced. What I love about this place is they still have a reasonable policy on charging for popcorn and sweets its only a little more than the shops, whereas at the larger multiplexes you end up paying more for a drink and pop corn than you did for the theatre tickets. This place is never a busy as a multiplex and its great for when you want to go to a new release film but cant be doing with the crowds at the multiplexes. Friendly staff, although it is upstairs so not good if you are disabled or need help.

The bad thing about this place is ALSO that it's a bit out of the way so it's not that easy to get to. Even though it's next to a leisure/sports centre it's not very well served by public transport (there's only 1 bus) so unless you drive it's difficult to just pop by after work, but they do have plenty of parking space if you do drive. It's a big enough multiplex from the odeon chain so you get a good selection of 2D & 3D movies. As with most other cinemas... avoid the snack/sweets/popcorn.

It's a really lovely intimate setting - quite small so regardless of where you end up sitting you have a great view of the screen. Also pretty impressed with their selection of films - it's nice to see some smaller productions every once in a while. The flicks are 13 quid a pop but that's about how much they cost everywhere else and you don't get fancy seats with all the rest! PERFECT date spot!

Cineworld has comfy seats with plenty of elbow room. Luckily, as oldies, we get to see films in the afternoon when the screen rooms are almost empty. Also, no noisy children and no scrunching of sweet packets etc etc. When we arrived the temperature was more than adequate but then, as the show started, the heaters came on. Obviously the sales of drinks and ice creams was on a low. Great cinema, great staff.

Noted for it's spacious couch seating, waiters to bring you the snacks you ordered, and a little table to keep it all on, it is a little more expensive than other cinemas, but you get your money's worth. I have been to other Everyman cinemas and enjoyed the VIP treatment, but in this instance, I found my seat very hard to get comfortable in. It wasn't too hard, but it was so high off the ground that it was impossible for me to get comfortable. It might work for someone 6ft tall but for me, it just wasn't working. I would recommend not sitting in the front, I think there might be better elsewhere in the room.

It was delightful. Later saw Paddington Bear here too. The seats are very comfortable, especially the soft leather sofa. Unlike some other cinemas it's kept very clean. You can also purchase adult drinks at the bar to take into the studios.

They offer a Juniors club on Saturday mornings were you get to see a kids film that is not a current movie for only a £1 for kids and adults, which is a great bargain and a great way to keep the kids entertained for a morning.
