Although to tell you the truth, I could have easily fallen asleep in that chair-one of the most comfortable chairs on the planet, I am sure. I have been a patient since 2008. I have moved around the country a lot for work - 9 states- and Dr. Benjamin and her team are the best that I have found in the U.S. I left the Bay Area in 2013 but Dr. Benjamin allowed me to continue to be a patient and I've traveled back twice a year for dental care except during Covid. I know that there are a lot of great people-and dentists- out there but Marina Tooth Fairy is right for me. I trust Dr. Benjamin. If you are looking for a wonderful team that you can trust and a place where you will feel comfortable, I strongly recommend making an appointment. Out of like 25 Yelp reviews I've posted, nearly all are positive, with this being the absolute worst by 100 miles. And I've been dealing with implants, crowns etc my whole life. But it took Marina THREE separate times to place crowns the same shape as my other teeth. See their attempt #1 below. Yes, they built and placed those two fangs in the back. How does a dental office let someone leave looking like Dracula with misplaced fangs, let alone, actually designing and building them in-office. Fast forward to gaslight city. For example, with this screw up, I was told by their COO (her husband) that 'I should have looked in the mirror after they were placed. Who doesn't look in the mirror?' My bad for trusting you knew what you were doing. Toal lack of any accountability and tons of excuses like my bite, other crowns were placed by other dentists...what?? That's an obstacle??? NEXT, within hours of the final crown placement, a 'COINCIDENTAL' break of a healthy, existing, adjacent crown (cracked clean off) occurred, leaving me with a missing front tooth, costing me $6K to repair. And Marina took ZERO accountability for any part, claimed it was entirely coincidental and to get a second opinion. I did for $400 out of pocket, but then Dr. Benjamin refused to call me back to discuss what I had learned. Nothing in this review is mis-information, exaggeration or has a 'two sides to every story' circumstance. They will blame it all on my bite or say they have no record of me. I naively I thought this was an ethical, sophisticated operation. If you need anything beyond a cleaning, well, I think my experience speaks for itself.

On another note, they ping you to fill out electronic paperwork before appointments. There were way too many questions and many of them were nonessential. And can you check my last cleaning? Which are 100% covered by delta dental. Is what you would think. WELL THATS NOT THE CASE HERE! I was told it would be 100% covered. They completely lied to me. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. Here is how they scam you. They don't tell you that they have the label premier which is only covered 90% Then they hit you with a bill in the future. Completely non transparent. Also they add 3D full mouth exam scan which isn't covered by delta dental. This place is a scam and careless staff. The staff hardly knew what they are doing. I opt out of the 3D "scam"cause that's how they scammed others. Avoid this place like the plague. I will say nikar, my dentist was nice and great at the exam. I wish he practiced some where else. I have filed a complaint grievance with delta dental and with the better business bureau. I will not be attending this place ever again.
